To See The Queen

" Wow. He's a lot more powerful than I thought." Sebastian said as he watched Eden and Seven fight from their spots on the breachers. Akeem sat next to him and leaned back in his seat with a smirk.

The ground around Eden was covered with ice he looked like he was in full concentration mode. He quickly blocked and the shadows attacked. There were small sparks of fire coming from his sword which only made Eden push the warrior back.

Sebastian laughed. "Look at him go."

Akeem hummed. "Do you think he could surpass ten?"

Sebastian groaned as he looked at Akeem with a flat look. "Ten is very different. A genius and a monster in every way. Also at a very young age too."

"You talk like you're not a monster yourself." Akeem said, which made Sebastian roll his eyes as he watched Eden slashed his sword at a fire shield. He was going crazy on it as the Shadow started moving back a little. Then all of a sudden, the shield started to shoot fireballs. Eden quickly backed away as water droplets started to surround him. He created a water shield as the fireballs quickly dissolved.

Sebastian smiled. "Smart move." Akeem hummed causing Sebastian to look at him. He noticed Akeem was looking at something from a distance. His eyes followed Akeem's gaze, his eyes widened when he saw Abidemi and Daisy walking with his mother.

Abidemi wore a blue headwrap with something that looked like a dark blue blouse, with a long wrap skirt around her waist and over her shoulders.

His eyes fell on Daisy's blond hair done in an elegant style and the red dress she wore.

Sebastian swallowed as he watched Daisy talk actively. Abidemi looked as if she was giggling.

"Lovely." Sebastian and Akeem said at the same time. They both sounded lovesick as they smiled at the two young women that were at a distance.

"You're just as lovesick as Akeem." a voice spoke up causing the princes to jump up from their seats. They glared at Eden who was watching them with a cocked eyebrow with Seven behind the young man. The disguised man shook his head in disapproval as Eden looked at Sebastian. " Don't tell me you got to know Daisy the same way Akeem got to know Abidemi."

"We met by chance a few times. She was sad and I wanted to cheer her up." Sebastian held his hand against his chest. Eden blinked at Sebastian. "It was the year she broke up with The Earl of Dullstone's son. I think his name was Jake.."

Eden blinked at Sebastian before smiling at him. "His name was Jeffery."

Sebastian looked at Eden. "And?"

Eden blinked at Sebastian as he held in his laughter. Akeem narrowed his eyes at Eden and Seven before groaning. Rubbing his eyes as he glared at Eden. "How the hell did you sneak up on us like that?"

Eden looked at Seven who was now standing in front of Sebastion and Akeem, blocking their view of the three women. " Seven taught me how."

Akeem and Sebastian looked at Seven with deep frowns as he walked to the two. "Just so you know, he has a lot of potentials. "

Sebastian smiled. His green eyes sparkled from excitement as he sat up. "That's great. I'll get the paperwork all set and talk with my father about this."

Eden looked at Sebastian. "Will your father be alright with me joining the shadows?"

Sebastian slowly nodded his head. "Father has no reason to dislike you. Your father and mother on the other hand." Sebastian cleared his throat. He gave Eden a wary look. "Well, there are plenty of reasons."

Eden cleared his throat. "Speaking of my father. He didn't return last night." Sebastian blinked before smirking.

"Let's just say that the Duke Of Sealen is being held for further investigation." Eden's eyes widened as Sebastian said those words.

"Is he allowed to know that I'm becoming a Shadow?" Eden asked

"Well, you are his only son. He should know what is happening." Sebastian said while looking at Eden. " You don't have to tell him anything if you don't want to."

Eden sighed. "I want to."

Sebastian nodded his head and stood up. "Good. You'll start training when your sister leaves Valtis. Though I don't know if she should tonight. That mother of yours is going to try to kidnap her. " Eden nodded his head.

Akeem stood up and stretched his arms out. " Shyla and Kanene already know about it. They told me that they prepare everything for Demi. She is not going back to the Sunflower Mansion anymore."

Eden sighed. "Well, it is to be expected. I still want to at least say goodbye to her."

"You could go now. I and Akeem have to see my father anyway." Sebastian said. Akeem groaned which only made Sebastian sigh. Sebastian looked at Akeem with a frown as he grabbed the other man's arm. "Oh cut it out. You know that's the other reason why you're here. Might as well get it over with."

"You're never there when he talks to me. It takes a while before he actually talks about business." Akeem said to Sebastian. Eden watched as Akeem and Sebastian walked away from him. Bickering like old friends that have known each other for a long time.

Outsiders will find it weird that the two princes that never met before were friends rather quickly. People won't know that they have already been friends for years. He could imagine the confused looks of the nobles of both Valtis and Elov right now. He has to admit, it will be pretty funny.

Eden sighed as he looked in the distance to see Abidemi and Daisy talking to the Queen.

Will he make it? Eden smelled himself and made a face.

He smelled like sweat. It probably won't be wise with the Queen around.

"You could get changed and washed up. The Queen knows you're here and wants to meet you." Seven said to Eden.

Eden jumped before looking at Seven. He didn't know that he was still here. "Umm. Thanks." he said to Seven. Seven only nod as Eden went to get changed.

"Found her." Kanene called out as she picked up a very annoyed black cat from under the bed. Shyla only sighed as she held out a dark blue cat carrier. Kanene placed the cat in the carrier and locked it. "Don't worry Pearls. You'll see Mommy really soon. Just relax."

"Did we get everything?" Shyla asked as she left the room.

Kanene nodded her head. "Yes. All we have to do is take her to the secret passageway. Then we get ready and leave the mansion."

"Ugh. Thank goodness the road isn't too far but to do it this way?" Shyla asked as they walked down the hallway. Walking into an open wall while handing the cat carrier to one of the servants. "Isn't this too much?"

"You heard what Ten said. That woman is getting really uneasy. She's even trashing her own room. Akeem instructed us to take Lady Abidemi's things and items to his ship. Make sure all servants that are heading to Elov go on board. Then let the Valtis servants leave for the Wheatfire estate."

Shyla groaned and rolled her eyes. "To think. That this whole thing is getting out of hand because of this woman." Shyla noticed that the servant was long gone and touched the wall so it closed up on its own. She covered it with a curtain as she exhaled heavily. " I really hoped that this day didn't get any worse."

"ABIDEMI." Logan's voice yelled, causing both women to groan.

Kanene gave Shyla an exhausted expression. "You just had to say it. Didn't you?"

"Well, he didn't come yesterday." Shyla whispered.

Kanene rolled her eyes. They walked away from the wall and headed down the hallway. "Lady Daisy was here. He's afraid of her."

Shyla snorted. "Oh yes. He probably heard our lady talk about it."

Logan came into view as he looked around the hall. He stopped when noticed Shyla and Kanene looking at him with disdain as he glared at them. "Where is Abidemi?"

"She's out." Kanene said to him. Logan frowned deeply as Shyla narrowed her eyes at him. "

"Out? Without you two?" Logan asked as Kanene and Shyla rolled their eyes.

Shyla looked at Logan with a dead expression."She left the mansion without us before. Why would it be any different, now?"

Logan growled. "You really should know your place, servant."

"I'm not your servant, Lord Logan." Shyla said with a dark glare. "Now. Go away."

Logan groaned. "Not until I see Abidemi." Kanene and Shyla inwardly groaned but they only looked at him blankly.

" Lord Logan. I do believe Lady Abidemi wouldn't want to see you if she was here." Shyla started out as she glared at him blankly. "Also you're breaking and entering. Whatever you want isn't worth it now."

Logan glared at them. "Then I'll stay." He said to them. Kanene and Shyla only sighed as they walked past him. He blinked at them. "Where are you going?"

"We have something to do." Shyla said while she closed her eyes.

"We fear that we can't entertain you."Kanene said. Logan only shut his mouth as they walked away. After that Kanene and Shyla turned a corner. They kept walking but started talking. "Ready for our last tasks as maids?"

Shyla nodded her head. "Of course."

Kanene smiled as they walked down the hall.
