Freya had climbed into the carriage. She bit her thumb then she glared at the Wheatfire estate. ' To think, Flora would turn me away. Just like that.' she glared angrily at her lap as she clenched her skirt. 'I didn't think she wouldn't be over it. It happened a long time ago. She got out of it, didn't she?"
Asking Flora for help was her only hope and her twin turned her away. How could she?
Weren't they sisters?
Weren't they the only ones left of their family?
They had to stick together. That's what their father told them.
"Awww. Freya, you looked so tense. Didn't get something you wanted?" Freya jumped when saw that the shadow was there. They were looking at their gloved nails as they faced her.
"How?" Freya asked as she placed her hand over her heart. The shadow chuckled as she glared at him. "Doesn't matter, get out!"
"Easy. Easy. I'm here to help. My master thought he could give you a hand."The Shadow said while holding up his hands. Freya relaxed a bit as she glared at the Shadow. "What do you want some help with?"
Freya glared at him. "Why would he help me? Abidemi has nothing to do with his goal."
He just shrugged his shoulders. " My master is feeling especially generous and would love to help you." Freya swallowed heavily. " I just have to be sure. Is it really Abidemi that this person wants."
"Yes. I'm sure of it." Freya yelled which made the shadow chuckle. Freya swallowed.
"If you're sure." the Shadow said with a grin. "But if this becomes a waste of time then my master will have no choice but to dispose of you."
"Dispose of me?" Freya whispered while the Shadow nodded his head.
"That or he'll find another use for you." the shadow said. Freya swallowed. She could hear that grin under his mask. "So again. Are you sure that Abidemi is what they wanted? You'll have to pay for all the wasted time."
"I'm sure." Freya said. The Shadow just shook his head which made Freya swallow heavily. "What's that for?"
"Nothing. My master was right about you. That's all."The Shadow said while looking at his gloved nails. "He was right about you all along."
Freya swallowed heavily as she closed her eyes tightly.
'For Mila. I'm doing this for Mila. For Mila.' Freya thought over and over again. She swallowed heavily as she closed her eyes.
Yet she can't help but feel a sense of dread burning in her stomach.

"She did what?" Daisy, Clover, and Abidemi all yelled at the same time from the news. The maid flinched from the yelling.
Abidemi clenched onto her pale blue dress and gray cloak that she had changed into. Eden placed his hand on her shoulder and led her to sit on the bed.
Meanwhile, Daisy and Clover crowded the poor maid in worry as she held her hands up.
"Relax. Her grace said that she'll be fine." the maid said. Daisy looked as if she'd run out of the room but the maid stopped her. "Lady Stella is taking care of her and Lady Flora said that you two need to stay here."
Daisy looked uncomfortable as the maid smiled at her lady. "But Auntie slapped her. You can't just tell us to calm down."
The maid sighed and nodded her head. "And her grace is very aware of that but it's better to stay here. You'll never know when our guest may come to pick Lady Abidemi up."
Daisy blinked before looking at Abidemi. Her eyes widened when she noticed the look on Abidemi's face. "Oh, Demi." Daisy called out as she ran over to her friend.
The maid sighed and then looked at Clover. She noticed the look on Clover's face and sighed. "Lady Clover, her grace also said that you shouldn't go around killing people."
" Aunt Freya shouldn't have touched her." Clover said in a flat tone.
"But she doesn't want you to get in any trouble either." the maid said to Clover. Clover looked at the maid with a deep frown. "My lady."
"Fine. I won't do anything." Clover muttered. The maid smiled. Clover then walked over to the three.
The maid sighed as she left the room. "Her grace has every reason to worry about Lady Clover's marriage prospects." The maid just shook her head. She heads down the hall to Flora's room.
Meanwhile back in Daisy's room.
"So it's a common thing." Abidemi said with a frown. Daisy sighed and nodded her head. "But why."
Daisy frowned as she sat next to Abidemi on the bed. " Because Mother won't give Aunt Freya what she wanted. Then she'll turn around and blames her mother for her problems. Mother almost lost everything because she wanted to keep Aunt Freya happy. Then Mother realized it wasn't worth it and stopped helping Aunt Freya."
"And that's when she started slapping Aunt Flora." Eden stated. Daisy nodded her head. "When did it stop?"
"When Father found out. He was so mad that he went to see her." Daisy said with a smirk. " I don't know when it stopped but I saw Aunt Freya less and less as time went on. The only time Mother ever sees Aunt Freya is at tea parties, balls, charities, and parties. I saw Aunt Freya when I came to see you and even then it wasn't much."
Abidemi let out a sigh. "So she's always been that way."
Daisy nodded her head while she smiled a bit. " Always." Abidemi frowned deeply. "You know. My mother adores you. If I had a brother or if I was a boy, she would've wanted you part of the family."
Abidemi laughed. "You're just saying that."
"No. Daisy is telling the truth." Clover said as she walked over to them. Abidemi blinked as she looked at Clover. "But she could settle for this. You being Eden's big sister and Daisy's best friend."
Abidemi smiled at Clover. "Thanks Clover." The copper blond-haired girl only nodded her head. "I'm gonna miss you."
"Mmmm. I'm sure we'll see each other again." Clover said with a small smile. "Just do your best in Elov and be strong." Clover said as she pumped her fist. Abidemi giggled as Daisy shook her head.
"Cloves. Never change." Abidemi said with a warm smile. Clover only nodded.
There was a sudden knock on the door which made everyone in the room look at it. Daisy told them to come in as the maid came in. "They're here." the maid said while three people walked in.
Abidemi's eyes widened when she saw Shyla and Kanene. She also noticed someone else was beside them, they were a bit taller than Kanene and Shyla. They wore a black cloak along with something that looked like military pants and a shirt.
Abidemi blinked before looking at Shyla and Kanene. She also noticed that both of them were dressed very differently from their maid's outfits.
Kanene wore a black crop top with black baggy pants. She also wore some armor on her legs, arms, and shoulders. She noticed that there were some tattoos on her stomach up to her chest. There were also some white patches on her stomach and upper arms. She had braided her hair tightly in two rows. There were two big swords on her back Kanene wore a blank expression.
Abidemi blinked as she noticed Kanene's arms. 'Has she always been so built?' That probably explains why she could carry so many heavy things
She looked over to Shyla next.
Shyla also wore dark clothing as well. She wore a pretty dark green dress with a cloak over her shoulders. Abidemi noticed that she also had some tattoos on her upper arms. She had a bow and arrow on her back and she also wore a blank expression on her face.
Yet the moment Kanene and Shyla saw Abidemi, their expression turned into extreme happiness. "Our lady." They ran over to her as Abidemi got up from the bed. They gave her a big hug as she hugged them back.
Abidemi looked over their shoulders as she looked at the stranger that was beside them. "Ummm. Who is that?"
Shyla groaned as she pulled away. Kanene only looked at the cloaked covered stranger. "His ranking is Ten but that is not his real name."
Abidemi blinked as she looked at Kanene and Shyla. "Real name?"
Ten laughed a bit as he walked to Abidemi. "No need to worry. You'll know my real name once we're safe and out of danger. Right now, we really should be going."
She noticed that he was wearing a mask. It was a full mask that kept her from seeing his full face. The eyes of the mask were tinted black to keep her from seeing his true eye color. She noticed that he was a bit taller than her.
Abidemi blinked and whispered. "Going?"
Ten nodded his head as he looked at Abidemi. "Time to say your goodbyes to your friends."
"Oh, yeah." Abidemi smiled sadly as she swallowed heavily. She looked at Daisy who looked as if she was going to cry. "Goodbye."
Daisy got up from her bed and walked over to Abidemi quickly. Daisy quickly pulled her into a hug as Abidemi hugged her back. Abidemi blinked back the tears as she buried her face in Daisy's chest. " Send me a letter as soon as you get settled."
Abidemi nodded her head as she hugged Daisy tightly. "I'll do that."
"Don't let any Elovian noblewoman bully you." Daisy said while Abidemi scoffed.
"You know I'll never do that." Abidemi said with a laugh.
Abidemi jumped up when she felt someone touch her arm. She looked at Clover who smiled at her. "I'll definitely miss you Cloves." Clover nodded her head. Abidemi then looked at Daisy and smiled warmly at her. "I'll miss you most Daisy. Tell that bunny of yours that I'll miss him."
"Of course." Daisy said while she wiped her eyes. "Tell your Kitty I'll miss her."
Abidemi laughed and nodded her head. " Definitely."
Ten cleared his throat. Shyla smacked him. Ten faced Shyla. "What? We have to get going. We have a captain waiting for us and we're not sure if someone followed them here."
Daisy glared at Ten as Abidemi sighed. She started to pull away from Daisy who reached out for her. Abidemi quickly does a curtsy at Daisy and smiles at her. "Thank you for having me." she looked up at Daisy with tears in her eyes. Daisy swallowed heavily. "I really appreciate it."
Daisy laughed as she wiped her eyes. "It's always a pleasure to have you."
Abidemi quickly stood up and put up her hood. Eden moved to Abidemi's side and took her hand. Shyla and Kanene waved goodbye as well. Eden looked at Daisy and smiled.
"I'll be back, guys." Eden said to them. Daisy nodded her head as they left her room. Abidemi quickly wiped her eyes, trying to keep herself from crying as Eden led her away from Daisy's room.
Meanwhile, Daisy was sobbing, quickly wiping her eyes as her sister tried to comfort her. She laughed from a memory.
A memory of a little girl with puffy ponytails, giving what she thought was a blond little boy a cookie. The girl had a smile on her face as Daisy wiped her eyes fiercely.
