Where am I?

Leon clicked out of the tab on his computer, making sure to double check that he cleared his history. He pushed himself away from the desk, tossing a few crumbled tissues into the trash bin below. Leon's eyes burned from the twelve hour session he just had on his computer. He contemplated operating in the light, eliminating the strain he felt on his eyes.

He sighed, making sure to over exaggerate for effect.

Bzzz, bzzzz, bzzzzz

His smartphone buzzed on the desk. Leon annoyingly turned to see the screen. His mouth dropped, his entire body started to shake. Leon read the line of text three times before he let the phone drop to the carpet. A door burst open as he exploded to the other side. Leon craned his neck up to see it. In the distance about a few miles above the skyscrapers, a single dot was accelerating toward the Earth.

He instinctively dropped to his knees, a nuclear warhead seconds away from eradicating everything.

"Oh fu-"

The missile took an awkward turn and aimed directly at his small apartment building. Leon's eyes widened as the fire behind it took up the sky. He swallowed hard before making sure to take in one last heavy breath. Although he almost puked as he inhaled the mustard and hot sauce stench on his shirt, not the best last breath in his book.

BOOM

The missile collided with the small brick building with extraordinary force.

Everything went dark, Leon no longer was able to feel anything, he was dead for sure.

But...

Leon could clearly feel every part of his body, he could even make out his own heartbeat. Was it just a dream? Leon's eyelids pried themselves open and a light shone down on him.

Puzzlement cascaded across his face as he weighed his scenery. Leon was laying in a field of ankle high grass, it slightly wavering in the breeze that tickled his nose. After lifting his head, he found himself sitting in a clearing with a few dozen trees in a circle around him.

"God?" Leon said confused, the world around him coming into focus. He noticed, beyond the trees, was nothing. Pure whiteness stretched on forever. He thought of his heaven being being so odd.

"Hello?"

Leon jumped, mentally and physically. He sprawled out on the grass and searched around him. Nothing...

"Hello Master?"

There it was again, a nagging male voice that seemed to be right behind him.

"Whose there?!"

Leon was now awkwardly staring at a few trees closest to him.

"It is me, Stanley."

Leon bit his lip as the voice no longer could be coming from that direction, it seemed to be coming from inside his own head. A small male voice that itched the back of his brain.

"Where am I?!"

The voice, who went by Stanley, giggled excitedly at the question,

"Why we are in your world."

Leon sat quietly as he groped his temples,

"Are you God by chance?"

Stanley smiled in way that Leon could see, even if he was not visible.

"I am flattered but I am no God."

Leon sighed, thankfully God did not see what he was doing before he died.

"I am a servant sent by the one true creator."

Leon calmed himself by thinking of his parents, "And exactly who do you serve?"

Stanley pointed, but again, Leon just knew he did.

"I serve the God of this World, you..."

Leon stared up, not a blue sky in sight, or anything in particular. It was just pure whiteness. Where was the light coming from? Leon was still unable to answer that question.

Then it hit him, he was just on Earth. He was living a somewhat normal life, he finally got a job as a journalist for the local news, he started to workout, and he managed to pull the trigger on joining a dating cite. He just so happen to be in a twenty meter circle with exactly twenty six trees. Wait, Leon stared at his palms, he knew how many trees there were. He never remembered counting them or even paying much mind to the simple trees.

"Master?"

Leon jumped again, the voice still unnatural to him.

"Okay um, Stanley?"

Leon pushed himself to his feet, "Can you explain to me what's going on?"

Stanley nodded in his head, "Indeed I can Master. You have died in your previous life and have been summoned by the True Creator to compete in his game-"

Leon cut Stanley off, "You mentioned a True Creator twice now, who is that?"

Stanley shifted in his head, it was very uncomfortable to have a conscious simulate movement. Apparently more so if one just died, it making Leon almost topple over.

"The True Creator in your terms is the one you believe to be the one true God."

"Oh," Leon blankly said as he scratched his head of black locks.

"Also in terms relative to you, it would make you Jesus."

Leon stared at the grass as it swayed. The thought of being Jesus a little hard to grasp.

"So this True Creator is all powerful and I am just powerful?"

"Well you are all powerful, just the True Creator is All-All powerful," Stanley replied.

Leon sighed as the explanation helped very little.

There was a long moment of silence, the sound of his heartbeat the only coherent sound.

"Explain this game Stanley." Leon asked with a hand on his hip and another on his chin.

"The True Creator would like to find someone to fill his shoes as he wants to retire from his position. However, finding one is almost near to impossible so he created a video game like trial for anyone worthy. The trial will give them a fraction of his power with certain handicaps and rules that will prove their ability to inherit the entire power."

Leon plopped back down onto the grass, "So even God retires eh?"

Stanley shrugged in his mind, the idea of having a master his only goal.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm,"

Leon grunted as he took in the information.

"Okay then Stanley, where do I start?"

Stanley jumped for joy in a way Leon still found intangible. He really did not like sharing his mind with others, especially ones who make him wanna puke every five seconds.

"I'm surprised you are so laid back Master, I suspected more fight."

Leon grinned, "Well Stanley, the one thing I lack is a will to fight. I just think it would be best if I just accept the outrageous fact that I'm considered Jesus, instead of going insane like most would."

Stanley clapped, something Leon did not even think was possible to do in one's head.

"Okay first off Stanley, stop moving, I can't think straight with you doing that."

"Sorry, I am only a little excited. I never really had such a important job."

Leon went from tree to tree, "Exactly what are you Stanley, besides the servant part?"

"Why I am just that, a servant. But if you truly want to understand, it would be better to call me an Angel."

The formula started to click in Leon's mind, he could grasp the idea now. He thought of it as he was auditioning for the role of God in a school play, except the fact still stood that he was already Jesus...

Leon retracted his previous thought, maybe paralleling stuff from Earth was a bad idea for him to do.

"So what do I do now?"

Stanley gestured to the area around him, "You first must name your World, no God can rule over a nameless place."

Leon shuddered as he thought of Stanley's words. He pulled all of his previous knowledge of naming animals, video game characters, random birds he saw land on his window seal, his imaginary friends, and the books he tried to make. All of the information piled up as a single name formed in his deep thought. A name that would forever be engraved into his work and role in the True Creator's "game".

"Earth 2.0,"

Leon said with the wildest grin.

"That name is Already taken by a Candidate also competing for the position."

"Whaaaaaaat?!"

Leon puffed his cheeks, he honestly thought it was a clever name.

"Since the trial is modeled after a game, the overlapping of World names is not allowed."

"I call bullshit,"

Leon angrily said.

Stanley raised an eyebrow, "You are calling "bullshit" on the True Creator's ideas?"

The statement hit Leon, "Okay fine"

The eighteen year old boy relished in silence as he picked the first thing that came to mind,

"How about Ed-"

Leon stopped, a cold breeze making him very uncomfortable.

"Um where is my Dick?"

Leon looked down to see that he was still in his old body but more muscular and toned, except he was not wearing any clothes. Dealing with the fact he was naked, he did not have any of his "male" parts.

"Um Where is My Dick registered as the World name."

Leon quickly forgot about his problem and focused on what Stanley just said, "Wait, did you just do that?!"

Stanley blankly stared at Leon in his head.

"Do what Master?"

Leon blinked more then usual as his gaze fell downwards, "You just named the one thing I'm supposed to present to God as "Um Where is My Dick" and you are playing it dumb. Do you not understand how horrible that is or maybe how I made it sound like a question?"

Stanley giggled, "Oh, do you suppose you should call "bullshit" on this as well?"

"...."
