“Stop!” 

Alex was startled by the loud scream. She looked at the direction where the voice came from only to be surprised once more. 

*splash* 

“Aaaaahhh!” Screamed Alex on top of her lungs before the water engulfed her. She tried to swim but the stranger had a good grip on her. She can’t take his grip off of her. 

‘Dear Lord, don’t let me drown’ Alex prayed so hard. She was making huge effort to stay afloat  but she feels like her consciousness is slowly fading. Soon enough, darkness engulfed her. 

“Miss?! Miss! Are you okay?” Said the baritone voice.

Love Me For Who I Am

"Who are you?! Are you nuts?!" Alex shrieked.  She couldn't contain the anger and embarassment that she is currently feeling after waking up with a stranger on top of him trying to kiss him. She hugged herself when she felt the wind softly blowing on her wet clothes and skin. 'What happened?' She thought to herself. 'Ugh! This is not good!!' She thought as she scanned her surroundings. Bystanders are now slowly dispersing away, not wanting to stay a minute longer. 


JC: "..." He was dumbfounded and relieved that the lady is awake now. 


"M-miss, I'm sorry." He was stuttering at the sight of the trembling lady in front of him. 


"I was just trying to save you". He added. 


"Save me?!? For what?!" Alex retorted. 


"Y-you were trying to jump off the bridge aren't you? I tried to save you, yet here you are acting so rude and arrogant!" JC tried to reason out with her, acting defensively. He still haven't recovered completely from the slap he received from her yet, here she is acting high and mighty, he was thinking to himself.


"You idiot! I was not trying to kill myself! And who gave you that idea, huh?! I was minding my own business, you should have minded yours" Alex is getting really frustrated with this guy. 'Ugh! Now my day is ruined' She started to get up and looked for her purse. 


JC looked puzzled after hearing what the lady was saying. He was still not sure if she is crazy or she is telling the right thing because he was sure that she was about to jump earlier.
