WHERE AM I? (3)

"Don't you dare come near me!" Alex shakily outstretched her hand holding the knife towards JC. She is feeling weak and she knows that if this man tried to use force on her, she will lose even if she is brandishing her weapon on him.

"Please.. calm down. I do not mean to hurt you." JC pleaded guiltily.

"Stay...away!"

"Okay, okay. I meant no harm. I will explain everything." JC took few steps back and leaned towards the wall. He started narrating yesterday's events.

"I saw you yesterday walking at the boardwalk. You look lost and sad. To be honest, I was captivated by you so I decided to follow you.." At this point, JC couldn't suppress the boyish grin plastered on his face.

Alex was stunned. 'Omg, omg, omg! He is undeniably handsome! Oh my heart!'

"And?!" She decided to hide her feelings. After all, he was the reason why she is in this predicament.

"Well, I saw you about to jump into the water so I tried to stop you..." As he was saying these words, JC was scratching his head, still wearing his grin from earlier. 'Now this is awkward' he thought to himself.

"But I was too late for you fell in the water anyway..."

Alex squinted her eyes as she remembered falling onto the water when she heard someone screaming that she lost her footing.

"You idiot!! You were the one that caused me to fall!!" Alex found strength in her anger that she started charging towards JC like a raging bull ready to slaughter.

JC was taken aback. He did not anticipate this lady's response to what he was saying. Nevertheless, his quick reflexes helped him to dodge her.

*blag!*

"Ouch! My head..." That was all Alex can mutter before darkness consumed her again.
