Hello there, the name is James Smith, in my previous world that is, now my name is James, James Von Faramis. You guys ask why i suddenly doing this? I dunno, ask that to the author not me, i'm just a character with no control on what i'm thinking. And why is my character suddenly took a 180 you say? Well to be honest, the cold and cool looking demeanor is my act to keep people from guessing what i'm really thinking. Never thought it will keep me from make friend and get a girl *sigh*.
Jokes aside, it was astonishing how i can learn and understand a new language really fast. Well it's because of the wish i made, unlimited skill points. It seems as a baby, i can learn new skills for free in a very short period of 1 year. Something like a bonus stage.
The first thing i do is of course the language, i tried really hard trying to listen and understand the language to acquire the lingual skill and level it to 2. Why 2? It needs to be told wayback.
After i'm awake from my slumber, i remembered about the mystery gift from Goddess Friesca. So i use it and i got appraisal skill, never thought i will get this legendary skill in my first gift pack. The reason why it's legendary is because the exp needed to level it up. Each with increment of 20, you read it right 20. The first level was already ridiculous, you need 500 exp to the next one, when you use it once you get 1, yes 1, 1 FRIGGIN EXP!!! Only a really bored person will try to use appraisal every second for the same item over and over again.
How do i know? Like i said, unlimited skill points, everytime i added a level i saw it with my own eyes from 500 it jump to 10000, and when i level up again it was 200000. From there you can see it was a ridiculously hard to level, truly a legendary skill. Btw i just leveled it to 3, it seems that people that got the skill only reach that level. I don't want to max it, save it for god knows what would happen if someone trying to appraise me when he bored or something and saw the appraise level is either maxed or in ???. Will Max it once i get a skill that could hide status or something
Back to my baby days, i will keep it to my grave about my shameful act and what i do with my mother. I will left it all to you guys imagination but remember, it's not that strange one alright. First month i worked hard learning the language and finally level it to 2 to understand simple sentences and daily conversation.
Next i tried to move my body, but oh boy it's hard as hell. Even as an Ex-SecretAgent is no exception, which shouldn't have any connection whatsoever with a baby disastrous motoric skill. It took me 2 months to finally control it with my own power, without moving on it's own.
My next plan is trying to get my mother show me a storybook or make her show me magic. My mother is a fair looking woman with a good looking face, beautiful is overstatement since my mother does look normal. I wonder how she got my handsome father's heart, she have a silky dark blue hued hair, dark blue eyes, small nose, red lips with beauty trait of a small mole below her left eye.
Finally given up for my incessant noisy plead, she read a storybook about a great mage who used magic to fight the monsters in the past. It seems each country had it own fairshare of monster wave from a dungeon that overpopulated which cause the waves. To reach the dungeon is not possible for it was located in few danger zones, which make thinning the dungeon monster is next to impossible task.
Next my mother show her magic, a water magic. I was fascinated with the magic she shown to me, and plead her to read the next book about magic. She read it slowly for she thought i might not able to understand, but of course my mother won't know that i can read the whole book without hitch, just need some explanation for few things i don't understand.
Magic has 7 main elements which is Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Dark, and Space Magic. And each main elements will have it's own sub magic and combination magic, except for space magic. Fire for example will have a Heat sub magic which control temperature without using any fire, and Lava which is a combination of Fire with Earth. You get the gist of it.
It took me 3 weeks to digest all information about magic, and how to get the skills. Most elemental magic can be gain after birth if he/she has certain affinities with an element or two, as for me i have affinity with water and wind, both came from my father and mother. I was hoping for a space magic but that element is the hardest to get which is 1 in a million people. Even when trying to get it from stone skills.
Oh yeah, about getting skills it was gain from a stones which divided to 5 types, that is elemental, active, passive, special and singular. Elemental will give you elemental affinity at random, and if you lucky enough you might get space magic. Active will give you skills that cam be used when you need it to. Passive is skills that always active without the need to do anything. And Special which can give you random skills, from the 3 types and skills outside of the previous 3 skill stones, example is blacksmithing, tailoring, etc. Lastly the Singular stones, it's the most expensive of them all. Because you can see what skill you can get, depends on the name after identified.
Why it was expensive? Elemental skill stones can be gained from elemental monster with low drop rate, Active skill stones is the same as Passive, a very low rate. But Special and Singular, only drop from a boss floor of a dungeon with a very very low drop rate. In percentage it will be like 2%, 1%, 0.5% and 0.1%.
Enough about the stones, next is the world geographic. The world of Granadem is 2 times larger than Earth, have 1 sun but have 2 moons and it was blue. The town of Herben where i live, is on the largest continent, in a Kingdom of St. Brent. My father is an upstart nobel with meritorious deed from fighting and defend the town from monster waves 2 years ago. And it was also where my father met mother, it seems he was trying to save mother from monster attack when she was trapped in the waves.
This world has 5 continents, from the largest to small is Panera, Greinhem, Franco, Begrioum and Ventice. There is also a small chain of islands just like Hawaii on Earth, but here it was called Chain Islands of Aramis since the islands was close to each other, almost like a cluster of chains.
It seems my baby steps explanation went off a tangent there, about my training for the last half of the year will be on the next episode of Dra--. Uhh nevermind, i just feel tired so i'll get some sleep.
