He ran moving like darkness, he could sense danger and most importantly Mia. She was screaming for him, adrenaline pumped through him, making him go light headed. The twigs and shrubs couldn't stopped him instead they shrinkled. Then he stopped when he saw evil.

The entire council members stared back at him, a smug smile drawn across their faces. They

didn't say a word to him as they walked swiftly past him until he saw them no more. He felt something in him snap as he dashed into the cave. The sight that confronted him made him frozen with fright. Mia laid sprawled on a rock like a ragged doll, her red hair flaring, the stake in her heart impairing her breathing. He growled in pain and fury as he ran to her.
