Preparation 2

I am currently sitting down cross legged absorbing in information.

After I finished choosing my techniques I was asked whether wanted to learn them instantly or integrate them in slowly.

What's the difference? Well, learning them instantly will apparently hurt like hell but of course doing it slowly only takes a bit of time.

Seeing as I have a lot of time to spare I chose to spare myself from the pain.

Images, languages that I do not know of and experiences all flowing into my head. Learning new things by the second, a fascinating feeling indeed.

All of a sudden I could feel my connection with the flow wavering, not knowing what's happening I open my eyes.

Feeling the connection coming from above I look up and greets me is a thick green line about 15 cm wide connecting to something.

Suddenly the connection cuts.

Above me is a tiny girl around 10 cm tall wearing a white dress with long red hair and two little wings.

'A little fairy,' was my first thought.

Is that pixel or another guide?

"Pixel? That you?" I ask out loud.

The girl responds, "Of course! Who else would it be?"

'A really cute sharped mouthed little girl,' was my second thought.

"I'm multiple times older than you for your information and you don't have to tell me I'm cute, I already know that." Pixel says arrogantly.

I put it in the back of my head before but this confirms it, that she can somehow read my thoughts. But thinking about it, it shouldn't be so surprising given that she can input so much information into my brain just a few moments ago.

Still wondering what happened to the information I ask pixel, "What happened to the connection?"

"I told that I could give you a head start and that was it. Seeing as how you absorbed all of it so slowly for about 2 months then you should be able to use them quite proficiently."

2 months?! I didn't even realise. Never in my life would I have thought it to be possible to be in a trance for that long without even knowing it.

Pixel reassures me, "Don't worry, time is frozen in this dimension."

"Ok."

But that doesn't even matter now, what matters is that I can use the two techniques I chose previously. The images and experiences that I felt before was kind of like watching a movie at the same time being in it. Similar to virtual reality but so much more realistic.

The only problem is what the technique called 'uvergeny' which is short for universal energy. Something that I currently don't have but can only be accumulated over time.

I won't be able to absorb any in this dimension so I can only do it somewhere that does...

Thinking for a few moments I remember something extremely important that made me want to hide in a hole.

I can just ask Pixel to make a world where I can absorb it freely!

Another thing mentioned is that training in uvergeny also strengthens the soul, making me not as vulnerable to attacks having to do with illusions and attacks that cannot be blocked physically itself.

Well the physical attacks will take care of itself if I have my armour on.

"Pixel, I think I'm ready to go to my first world."

She smiles brightly, "Okay then, just let me give you the system okay? Just say 'I accept'."

Hmm? That's right, she did say before that she can either go with me or give me a system. So I can choose to either use the system myself or have Pixel travel together and use the system in my stead.

Given that she is more experienced than me in using the system I would rather have her come. She can also give me advice on certain things knowing that she's a guide sent from God and how many times older she is than I am.

"Ah no... I want you to come with me."

Pixel clicks her tongue.

*tch

"You can actually think." Pixel says.

It seems she disagrees?

She begins to float down towards right until we are able to meet eye to eye.

'If only she was human size' was my thought.

Clasping her hands together Pixel begins to speak, "You know Jase... you know...It'd be much easier for you if you just take the system for yourself. I'm really clumsy and might mess up a lot." She says with upturned eyes.

I respond with a laugh while waving my hands, "hahaha, that's ok, it's fine it's fine. You can come with me, I'll allow you to."

A voice suddenly appears in the surrounding, "Contract initiated...Pixel XXXX is now bound to Jase Pen. Please give a name to Pixel XXXX."

Flying into a fury Pixel points at me and yells, "Noooooo! You heathen! Why don't you get smited already?! My life... my games... my food... That woman is going to steal it all! And it's all because of you! Why can't you just be like the rest, naive and do everything on a whim. Be a hero and listen to what a cute girl like me has to say!"

This is amusing, it's like teasing a little girl. It also looks like a lot other reincarnated take the system themselves instead.

Plus, having someone accompanying me whilst I train is something I prefer rather than doing it all alone.

"Ok ok, that's enough... Do you want a different name or do you prefer what I was calling you just now?"

"I don't care, not like you gave me a choice before anyway."

"Then I'll just continue calling you Pixel then."

The voice suddenly speaks again.

"Name set. Congratulations Jase and Pixel."

With a grumble Pixel replies, "Congratulations my behind."

I can only laugh, "Hahaha... well what's done is done. By the way, I have decided on where to go for my first world."

Seeming to finally succumbing to her fate Pixel flies over and sits on my shoulder.

"Yeah? and where would that be?" She asks.

"For my first world... I would like to go on a planet with no living beings. The planet should be extremely dense with uvergeny so I can train."

"Is that all? How about food?" Pixel reminds.

I was so rapped up with getting stronger that I almost forgot that I would've starved to death if I didn't have any food on the planet. How could I be so stupid?

"I almost forgot. Can you put in animals that aren't able to absorb any type of energy whatsoever?"

"Sure. Anything else?"

I should also make it so the world has different energy levels at different places because the stronger I get the denser the energy I can absorb. If the density of the energy in that world is only set to one level then it would be a great waste as I wouldn't be able to create another.

"Yes there is. Make it so that there are differing energy levels at different locations on the planet. It should be like a elevator. I start at level 1 being the lowest and can just go up to get to the next location."

"Okay..." Pixel says waiting for my next request.

"One last thing. At the dense energy locations, create an area so I can plant things, I plan to grow some herbs. You decide on the size, I assume you would know what is suitable. That is all."

"Then lets begin." She says before flying off my shoulder.

I can't help but feel a little excited.
