Winning Argument

"Director! We should delay the fighting scene."

"Why? We have almost finished our preparation." Both producer and director could feel a headache starting to form behind their neck. The cause was not even internal pressure but external.

Tang Ning stomped coolly,"Director, we should go ahead."

"Ning Jie!" Four of them were on heated discussion, did not even realize two black Maybach were approaching close to their filming site.

Two slim and powerful figures were coming out, like an action movie where two mob bosses decided to have a stand-off against each other.

Mo Ting was wearing his navy suits with white shirt, while Lu Ting Xiao went for his all black style as usual. Both of their assistants helped to open the door and let their bosses out of the car, went straight to their wives without caring for thousand eyes looking at their direction.

"Mo Ting. You come?"

"Lu Ting Xiao, you too?"

Ting Xiao just shrugged his shoulder and both walked side by side towards the central heated discussion where they spotted their arguing wives and directors.

"What happened?" Ting Xiao deep voice penetrated the heated discussion instantly and made everyone attention focused on both of these two CEOs.

"Darling!" Ning Xi face lit up happily and was getting brighter when she saw who was coming with her husband. "CEO Mo, you are here too!" Ning Xi was greeting him with excessive happiness.

"Ning, what's wrong?" Mo Ting gently called his wife.

"Nothing. It's just normal discussion over the scene." Tang Ning smiled back. However, Mo Ting knew his wife well. She must be hiding on something.

"Director, we can start filming now. So, as per my discussion with Ning Jie, this is how we are going to split. Ning Jie will take the motorbike scene and I will take the rooftop scene."

"What?" Lu Ting Xiao could feel his blood frozen after listening to Ning Xi explanation.

"Cancel the scene right away!"

"CEO Lu, I have told her a few times that the scene is too dangerous. We even prepared stunt double for both female lead, both both fervently rejected."

"Xiao Xi, use stunt double!"

"Ning, are you sure you gonna be okay? I think we should listen to director."

The tide had turned in an instant. Happy with the backup, the movie director kept repeating how dangerous the scene was and the explanation was getting more detailed. With every specific detail, Mo Ting turned anxious and Ting Xiao face was indescribable.

Knowing each of their husband characteristic, Ning Xi dragged Ting Xiao to one corner and Tang Ning dragged her husband to the other corner, leaving the movie director all alone again without knowing what to do.

"Darling, you know how talented I am. I have recovered well. You don't need to be worried."

Remembering a huge accident that happened before, his voice turned raspy,"You know I can't bear to see you hurt."

"I know. I am going to be very careful. You have to believe me. Okay?"

No answer.

"Darling, please." Ning Xi was begging with her puppy eyes glistening with ears. She knew that Ting Xiao would never reject her if she was doing that.

"Okay, I am going on standby. Take care of yourself." He pinched her nose bridge and landed a kiss on her forehead.

While on the other hand

"Ning, are you sure? How come the director look so worried about the scene?"

"I am sure. I think he doesn't know whether we both could do any action scene. Ning Xi scene is far more dangerous than mine. I should be fine."

"Okay, I believe in you. You can do whatever you put your mind into. I am going to wait here, okay?"

To be honest, with Mo Ting around, Tang Ning felt more nervous. Her hand slowly rubbed her flat tummy, conscious with her little baby inside.

Ning Xi reached the director first and told him straight,"We are ready. Let's do it."

Since there was no point in keep delaying filming process, the director retreated and shouted to the crew especially logistic crew to do one more final check. They were going to continue filming with a slight change. No more stunt double, both actresses would take the lead.
