A Disco night - III

No one made it inside and Evelyn felt like she was already drunk. How long was the fate line supposed to be? She checked the time on her watch again. It had been an hour and forty-five minutes more.

She huffed before pulling out her phone from her bag and dialling the number of Giovanni. The moment he picked up she yelled on the phone, "Where are you?!" "The line was too long for us to get in so we decided to go to another club. Where are you?" Evelyn's mood soured. Bitterness ran Deep and she did not know how to react in this situation. It was like the world around her stilled and the music playing through the speakers seemed so far away."Hold on," she said before taking the phone off her ear and checking her messages, her WhatsApp and then her phone calls. So no one had texted her or called her to inform that they had changed their destination. She placed the phone back on her ear and said, "nowhere. Bye." She said in a rather clipped tone and then hung up.
