A mother's decision - I

Alexis, for many times in her life, had felt helpless in deciding what was to be done in situations like this but this one topped all of it.

She had never felt afraid to take on and challenge Angelo and not to forget her son as well, but for the first time, she felt afraid to do so.

Something had changed drastically and even she felt the need to shut up and stay away from the bear inside of going ahead and poking it.

It was time for breakfast and by the appearance of the other side of the bed, it was clear that her husband did not come home last night.

Via Agatha, she had it confirmed that he was coming home for breakfast at least.

The familiar footsteps of his shoes hitting the floor made her look up at the entrance of the dining room.

Anglo entered the room alone and she gulped. Somehow, in the last two years, he became even more daunting than before.
