A week have passed after that incident that happened in the Bradford's mansion. It was morning.
Inside a spacious room a man was seen seating in front of his desk that was situated on the far side. The man with strawberry blonde hair was standing in front of the desk reading his report.
"The mansion was burned to the ground director Falco." The man with strawberry blonde hair said. "That's the end of my report."
Falco Von Fritz is the director of the hunter association. It is an association that looks upon hunters all over the world. They handle information and intel and give missions to registered hunters.
The director looks at least in his early 30's. He has long silver hair flowing elegantly on his back. His body is well built with outline of muscles. He was at least 6 feet tall. His has a pair of silver eyes that match his hair. A tall bridge nose is seen in his masculine face.
The director sighed. "Thank you Vince. You may go."
"Your welcome director." Vince said. He bowed then walked towards the door.
Before opening the door someone pushed it and entered.
"Ms. Rose. Good day." Vince greeted the woman that entered.
"Good day. You just finished?" Rose asked.
"Yes. I'm about to leave." Vince answered. "Looks like the director is stressed out with my report."
Rose looked at Falco's direction. "I'm going to talk to him for a moment."
"Okay miss. I'm just about to leave." Vince said then left.
Rose walked towards Falco. She sat on his desk. Falco was pressing his temple as if having a headache. When he felt the desk shake he looked up.
"Headache?" Rose asked.
"You said it." Falco leaned back in his seat. "A strong hunter family has been wiped out. And the culprit is non other than Cain." Falco sighed.
"Cain is a slippery little devil." Rose said. "It's hard to hunt him down. Not to mention only S level hunters can face him. On top of that even if it is an S level hunter it is not sure that we can catch him or take him down."
"Many S level hunters have perished in his hands." Falco said. "Not to mention Christopher. He is an S level but still he wasn't able to keep his life."
"You have already issued an order that when a hunter faced Cain it would be better to flee. Or a hunter can only face him in a group of at least two to three S level hunters." Rose said.
"I'm afriad you're the only one that can truly face him head on Rose. Even I can't fight him alone." Cain said. He looked at Rose intently. "You have become stronger after accuiring Murusame."
Rose sighed. "You know the side effects that sword can do, right? I can only use it for a few minutes before it affects me."
"I know. It only your sire is here. He is the only one that can surely fight Cain one-on-one and can defeat him." Falco said.
Rose's face had a hint of anger in them. She gripped the side of the table hard.
"Anyway, how is the boy?" Rose asked.
Falco sighed again. "He's recuperating at the ward section og the building. His body is healing rapidly. Not normal for a human being."
Rose looked at Falco with wide eyes. "You mean..?"
Falco knew what Rose wanted to ask and he nodded.
"That son of a bitch!" Rose slammed her hand on the desk. "He wanted to turn a Bradford heir?!"
"Technically he wasn't totally turned." Falco said. "The blood he gave wasn't enough to turn the boy. But because of that the boy is showing extraordinary skills that a vampire has." Falco looked at Rose seriously. "You know what I mean."
Rose understood what Falco meant. If an original vampire feeds his blood to a human being, it can turn them into a vampire. That makes a human a sired and looks upon the original vampire, his sire, as a master and the human as a servant.
The sired human will have extraordinary abilities such as fast movements and agility, great strength, fast healing abilities, and 5 perfect senses plus an additional 6th sense. If an original vampire has pure blood and a progenitor the sired human can have additional abilities. Some can control different elements. Some has much more enhance abilities from an ordinary vampire.
The down side of being a vampire is that they can't come out on daylight. The sun can burn and hurt them, but it won't kill them. Only special weapons can kill creatures of the night.
Also vampires feed on blood to further enhance their abilities. Original vampires and pure bloods doesn't need to feed that much, they only do oned their strength is low orntheu have sustained great wounds that they need to heal. But vampires that are at the low class can be always thirsty for blood. This are the ones that they call 'tainted'. This vampires are so down in the vampire class that their blood are muddled. This are the ones that the human's call monster because they are the ones that has no humanity left and attack humans and feed blindly.
"For now the boy is still fine. His eyes has turned red. But after a few months it will come back to it's orignal color. His hair has turned white with the shock of losing his family. It is pshycological the doctor said." Falco explained. "What I'm worried about is when he will start feeling the 'thirst'. I don't know how long he has before he turns into a 'tainted'. The blood Cain gave is just a little. But in time it can affect the boy's body and can change him gradually. If his blood changes the boy completely and the boy isn't given any blood from an 'original' to turn him fully into a vampire. He can be a tainted."
This is one way to turn a human into a tainted. If a human that was bitten and was on death's door was given even a drop of blood from a vampire then he will turn into a blood thirsty monster.
"Then what are you planning?" Rose asked.
"He's an orphan now. But he is still a Bradford. The heir to his family and a hunter." Falco said. "I want you to take care of him and be his trainor and guardian."
Rose's eyes went wide in shock. "What?!"
