Rey had been watching the behavior of the birds he had met for some time, but he didn't see anything new for himself. The logic prompted him that if their nests were in the forest, they should be closer to the tops of the trees, because he had never seen anything like it in the lower parts of them. It seems that the upper tiers of the forest conventionally belonged to birds.
This lesson dragged the guy so much that he did not notice how it was midday. But one cannot say that time passed in vain, because he still managed to find the nest. The sky-blue bird with two pairs of wings had already spent some time there, it seems, feeding offspring. After about an hour, it flew away, the guy waited until it completely disappeared from sight before rising to the nest. Looking into it, he realized that the chick was only recently born, because it was small even relative to the current size of Rey. After some hesitation, he grabbed it with one foot and threw it out of the nest. It looked cruel, but the guy didn't care much about it, he didn't have much time left to worry about morality inside the game. He noticed an already familiar phenomenon. The gray soul slowly left the body of the chick. Without any delay, Rey grabbed it. He did not know how long it would last, and now he did not want to experiment.

"I wonder who gives the names of these species of animals? I would like to have time to find out, but it is highly unlikely... "
Getting to the place more freely, he focused on the new soul. Rey did not know what size a new body would be, judging by the potential mother of the chick, it should be about 25 cm in height, but the wingspan was much larger. Almost instantly, a transformation occurred and he fell to the ground. It was impossible to stand for several reasons. The center of gravity of this body was greatly shifted due to the four wings, so it took him a while to get used to it. When he finally got a little comfortable, he realized that he ran into a problem. If in the previous body the tail did not bother him much, although it was a bit uncomfortable, then he definitely could not cope with the wings, besides, with four at once. It was impossible to move all together, any incorrect movement prompted him to fall, and he simply could not keep balance with the help of a bird's tail. An hour later, he learned to at least stand, but unfortunately he realized that having wings and being able to fly were slightly different concepts. There was another thing that upset him very much, having fallen several times, he noticed that the bird's body was very fragile, so it was not worth thinking about the practice of flying. Even if it took off, it would have definitely crashed when landing, or even worse - it hurt itself so that it could not move further.
With sadness at heart, Rey took the form of a kuring, wanting to continue on his way. He has already managed to get used to this form. Let the animal was small, but its ability to survive is not amenable to doubt. A worthy example was at least that for all the time Rey did not drink a single drop of water, but could continue the journey only by eating the leaves. But despite the obvious advantages, the guy still really wanted to feel the free flight. The opportunity was seemingly right in front of him, but he was simply afraid to use it.
"Maybe you should watch a little bit for the mother of this chick. If I understand better how to stay in the tildas body, I think something can happen. "
Rey climbed a tall tree, next to which was a nest, and waited patiently for the bird to return. Previously, he followed her only in order to find a place where she nests, but now he had to pay all of his attention to the technique of her movements. In anticipation, he did not notice how nearly an hour had passed before the tildas appeared in his field of vision. Even on the approach to the nest, the bird noticed that something was missing and accelerated. Rey saw only how smoothly flow the flaps of the front pair of wings to the rear, how the bird tilts the whole body when turning, how it straightens almost to the vertical position for landing. Even before this, the general principle of flight was known to Rey from the real world, but now, having directly seen how the four-winged bird moves in the air, he has clarified some moments for himself.
After waiting a little more and carefully examining how the tildas take off, Rey once again ran through everything he saw in his memory and was a little surprised. It was no different from watching the video, he remembered everything so clearly that he could even tell how many flaps the bird made during the whole time he looked at it.
"Interesting, is this also a game function?"
Shaking his head, Rey chased away distracting thoughts and, going down to the ground, assumed the shape of a tildas. Now he wanted to try to move in the same manner as the bird he was following.
It turned out unexpectedly easy. Now, when he knew exactly at what angle to tilt the body and how to properly hold the wings, walking and even unhurried run were not difficult. True, it was only until I had to move my wings, but Rey understood that everything could not be so simple, therefore, patiently learned to move them both synchronously and separately.
The keen guy did not notice at all that the tildas that had just lost their offspring had been flying nearby all this time, wanting to find the offender. And it was not strange that his eyes fell on another relative, who at that time was waving strangely in an open meadow. At the same moment when his unfortunate parent noticed, gaining sufficient height, the bird entered the peak at great speed, putting forward small, but sharp claws.
If it were not for the piercing cry issued by the tildas during the attack, Rey certainly would not have noticed him, but now he looked up watching him literally falling on him from the sky. The guy's brain worked quite quickly and unexpectedly for himself, he found an excellent solution to this problem. He even felt a bit like a hunter when he patiently allowed the bird to approach at a distance of 3-4 meters. At the same time, Rey focused on the human soul within himself. The bird's body was small, so now the tildas attack was aimed precisely at the legs of the guy. Obviously, such a transformation of the enemy completely stunned the unfortunate bird, not having had time to react, it was actually broken up by a powerful kick, which sent its already dead body far away.
Moving closer, Rey made sure sit was dead. This was confirmed by the fact that a soul slowly soared above it, the same gray as everyone else, but with a corresponding silhouette inside.
"What happens if I take this one too?" I already have the soul of heaven tildas. "
Wanting to satisfy his curiosity, the guy without thinking twice grabbed the soul, which, like the previous ones, entered his body and followed to the center of the chest. After waiting a little, Rey did not notice any changes in the Status, he had three souls as before.
"Well, okay."
Turning around, he went back to the clearing, but taking a couple of steps slowed down until he completely stopped.
"It's easier to walk ... And the thirst has receded a little. Is it because of that soul? "
After a bit of thought, Rey concluded that there was simply no other reason. He seemed to be even more tired, training to control the body of tildas, but now he felt a little better, thirst was still present, but noticeably weaker than before.
"So, the souls that I already have when reabsorbed are converted into energy?"
The conclusion was very pleasing, although he was sure that he could easily live the rest of the day in the body of the kuring, but it was undoubtedly more pleasant to live it without discomfort.
Returning to the clearing, Rey again turned into a tildas, but then he again noticed the change. His body felt differently, as if it had become stronger. The growth was insignificant, but nonetheless ... Smiling bitterly, Rey flapped his wings.
"Amazing ability. I wish I could use it longer ... "
***
The sun was setting. On the top branch of a tall tree a blue bird was sitting for another ten minutes.
"I can. If you don't try, you'll definitely fail. "- probably the guy repeated it to himself for the hundredth time.
Rey long time ago chose this place. Next to him there were no more tall trees, so, in theory, he had to calmly fly. The main deterrent was of course the death pain, which he remembered even now.
"Damn, it's too late to retreat," Rey stretched his wings, sighing. He succeeded quite simply. A few hours of training were clearly not in vain. A second hesitation, a swing, and now he was already in the air.
The guy tried to take off from the ground, but he could not do it, it seems that there was another feature in the movements he remembered of the bird that eluded him. Rey tried to keep his mind calm so that he could react to any wrong body movement in a timely manner. Now he is slowly alternating waves, in short time he has risen by how many meters above the top of the tree. Once again, mentally returning to the image of a bird from memories, he tilted his body and flied even higher, from where he emerged with one smooth stroke of his wings, gaining good speed.
"Yes! It happened!"
Continuing to gain speed and altitude, Rey was so focused on flying that even the thought of a quick death left his mind. Rising almost a hundred meters up, he opened his wings and slowly soared, enjoying the spectacle that had opened. The whole view was occupied by a forest that seemed endless, like a green ocean lit by the setting sun. The beauty of the landscape completely absorbed his mind and in such a trance he continued to fly towards the disappearing sun rays, as if trying to catch up with them.
Rey came to his senses a little when the night had actually arrived and he began to tire a little. Realizing that it was time to sit on the ground the guy was slightly upset. He did not sleep last night, but almost did not feel tired, so today he planned to stay awake. Sleep is not something that he would like to spend the remaining time for him.
"It's a pity, but it's impossible to fly further, if I get tired even more, I'm definitely not able to sit down."
The landing was what bothered Rey the most, but he came up with a fairly simple solution. He did no fully understand how to coordinate the movement to safely land in the form of a bird, but he did not have to do it. He could just slow down a lot and, flying as close as possible to the tree, take the form of a kuring, the dexterity of which allowed him to easily grasp the branch.
Rey slowly began to decline, trying to reset the gained speed as much as possible. Approaching the treetops by about ten meters, he encountered a problem - a strong gust of wind, to which he was completely unprepared, blew from the left side. Rey did not lose his head and grouped himself, straining his wings as hard as possible, trying to resist the pressure of the elements. Unfortunately, he did not succeed, the tildas' light body began to spin as if an autumn leaf had broken loose from the branch. The guy absolutely did not know what to do, and the occasional flapping of wings only aggravated the situation. A few seconds later, his flight ended with a blow to the ground, from which almost no bone remained in the body of the bird.
The fright was interrupted by a violent outbreak of pain. Being in pitch darkness, Rey tried to strain his mind in order to understand how only consciousness could inflict such pain!? It turned out very badly. All of his nature seemed to crush into a cake, and then stretched back, virtually depriving the guy of any opportunity to think reasonably. He wanted to scream with all his might, but he didn't have a body, only a mind that was now being torn by post-mortem pain.
Having spent in such a state almost half a minute, which seemed to him much, much longer, he felt the pain subside, but its echoes still echoed in his memory, as if saying that he should not repeat the same mistake. Rey felt his body appear, but he was not going to move. Consciousness has not yet returned to normal, even just thinking was unpleasant because of the echoes of hellish agony, through which he just had to go. Let him prepare himself morally for the fact that he could die during the flight, but once again he experienced the whole range of sensations that he had to go through when he died, his moral preparation went to pieces.
After lying for a while, Rey opened his eyes. There was moisture under his feet, so he looked up to determine its source. Immediately, he noticed a small swamp, because now the guy was in the same place, where he was at the moment of appearance in this world. He was in the guise of a man, as after the first death. Having recovered a little, Rey still forced himself to stand up and, looking at the body, he did not notice anything strange, except for extreme fatigue, which was standard for a newly revived. He did not know what to think about being back at the beginning. What worried him most was that the pain he had to endure lasted longer than the first time. Rey was sure of this, because the first death was as clear in his memory as if it had happened a moment ago.
"I will try not to die again for the rest of the day."
It was still quite difficult to move, so he just sat on the ground to get some rest.
"I wonder what other players are doing now?" There should be a lot of people, but the developers promised that each of the starting cities should contain more than three million people. I would like to see how huge they should be. "
Thinking about such things, Rey noticed a change in his inner space. Immediately checking the status, he confirmed his guess.

Although it was unpleasant, but after dying, the players really lost one of the specializations. In the case of Rey, he seems to have lost one of the souls.
"And the soul of a man cannot be lost? And what will happen if I get any specialization? "- the questions really interested him, but didn't want to test them in practice. Fatigue passed slowly, but imperceptibly for himself, the guy slowly dozed off, and after a couple of minutes fell into a deep sleep. His mind too much wanted to rest after such a rich experience of the past day and a sleepless night.
