Chapter 25

"Third POV"

And so the family of three laughed at the joke. even though kyoshi knew the truth.

'Well not like anybody is going to believe that?'

Both of his parents were proud of his achievements. an eleven year old son of their's defeating kage left and right, on top of that getting a village to follow him. Just thinking about it gave them goosebumps.

The family then chatted for some time till kyoko had to prepare dinner.

Kyoshi also went upstairs to his room after the talk and dismissed his clone of his duty. He got a minor headache because of the influx of more than a month's memory.

The school was as he expected bland and most of his time passed training with mikoto and kushina. Kushina seemed to be slightly down due to condition of her village but expertly hid it though mikoto always made her fess up. The two had become inseparable and joined by the third friend who was a hyuuga just happened to be hinata's mother.

Her name is Hisane Hyuuga.

Though in the canon, she was just a side character who was just there to give birth to two heiresses in reality she was silent type character. A Soft-spoken person who blended well with the background even though her beauty stood out among the crowd. It madekyoshi wonder if this was what hinata would have been like if she didn't go through the torture her family put her through.

'Nah! Hinata was the clan heiress after all she would most likely be like Mikoto, I think?'

Kyoshi shook his head of that thought and decided to go to sleep for now. It had been a long time for him to sleep in his bed. so as soon as his head landed on the pillow, he fell asleep immediately.

The next morning he woke up with chirp of the birds resounding at his window. He got off the bed and got freshened up. After freshening up, he went downstairs he found his father who as always was practicing his katas. It was hard for a police to maintain his body as lack of action in the village was prominent.

Koshiro saw his son coming downstairs so he stopped his practice. kyoshi greeted his father as koshiro replied back,"Good morning to you too son. You are up early. I though you would be down till noon."

"Nah, I got enough sleep. anyway father! you always practice your katas daily. don't you think you should occasionally attend some misson outside the village. it will definitely help you get stronger."

Koshiro mused at his suggestion.

"You may be onto something. I will try to follow your suggestion. But with the workload in the station, I don't get much free time." Koshiro sighed sadly at that thought.

Kyoshi suggested an alternate solution," How about you train with me?'

Koshiro solemnly looked at kyoshi as if offended by the suggestion. But inside his mind,

'My son is asking me to train with him. It has been so long since I played with him. With this I can totally enjoy my time with him.'

Koshiro's mental chibi version cried tears of joy.

Kyoshi seeing his father became unnerved. Thinking he may have offended his father he turned around and said," Or maybe not, I guess it would be too embarrassing training with your son at this age." And entered the house looking for breakfast. Koshiro meanwhile was standing in the backyard, with shocked expression and raised hand cursing himself for missing the opportunity.

Kyoshi greeted his mother in the kitchen and asked for breakfast. Kyoko called koshiro as well who came in the room with his head hung low and sat down in his seat.

Kyoko put the food infront of him as koshiro silently began to eat up sneaking few glances at his son. kyoshi tried to ignore the looks he was getting as kyoko just Mufufu'ed silently. seeing the situation going nowhere kyoshi called out to his father.

"Is something wrong father?"

Koshiro knowing he had been caught coughed and said," Ahem, son I have thought about your suggestion. seeing as I don't get to practice my moves in real life situation, I will accept your request."

"Ok then." kyoshi accepted and focused on his food.

Koshiro quickly added," Don't misunderstand. It is just so I won't rust my skills that's all. It's not because I specifically want to train with you or anything. I'm just preserving my skills. yeah just that."

"Alright alright! I get it." Kyoshi replied annoyed by the reasoning.

'this tsundere bastard. making up excuses as expected.'

While kyoko was trying her hardest to suppress her laugh.....

Kyoshi bolted out of the table as soon as he finished. Glad to be out of the awkward atmosphere he went to school directly. He picked Mikoto and kushina from their home who made him wait for Hisane as well. The ino-shika-cho trio met up with them after some time.

kyoshi tried to escape with the trio but two demon were holding both of his hand and were sporting a smile. The trio now knew the trap quickly hightailed probably saving their life on the process. Kyoshi sighed and cursed the bastards for living him in that situation. all he can do now is stand there waiting for Hisane to appear.

Hisane appeared only to be tackled by kushina. Thankfully mikoto caught her mid jump, preventing the danger. Mikoto then began to lecture her on proper conduct and all that while Hisane tried to pacify the angered Uchiha.

"Uhh guys! we should get to academy quickly. we are almost out of time." kyoshi intervened receiving a glare and look of gratitude from mikoto and kushina respectively.

"sigh! you are right let's get to school first." and turned to kushina,"and you don't think this is over you reckless girl." kushina teehee'ed and replied,"hehe mikoto chan, let's get to school quickly. come Hisane Chan." and pulled the hyuuga along. Mikoto screamed in frustration and followed the duo while our MC looked at the sky wondering what sin he had committed to be stuck in girl drama.

Thankfully, they reached the class just before the teacher entered. The teacher began to roll calling the students as kyoshi and the girls breathed in relief.

The rest of the day, kyoshi spent wondering why he came to school,

'Oh right! low profile' and banged his head on the table.

During the lunch, kushina was called to principal's office. When she returned she was bouncing on her heels with letter in her hand. kyoshi deduced the letter must have been from uzushio. Kushina skipped to her friend and gave each of them a hug in joy.

"What's the matter? why are you so happy kushina?" he asked.

"Kyoshi kun! this is letter from my parents. The uzushio was under attack..."

Mikoto and Hisane interrupted,"WHAT??"

"..... and successfully repelled the intruders." kushina finished her sentence."the three great villages allied to attack uzushio but they failed the attack and uzu survived."

"But how?" Mikoto and Hisane gave baffled look while our MC tried imitating their expression.

"He he! I don't know but it said a single person came to the village and defeated the intruders by himself." Even kushina was confused by that statement. she wondered if their parents were joking with her. she shook her head and added,

"But that's not the only thing that is making me happy, the most happy news is that my parents are going to visit me after a month. They are clearing the aftermath of the war for now. so they cannot come immediately."

"That's great kushina, you must introduce me to your family." mikoto happily said to kushina hugging her closely.

"Me too." Hisane the silent girl joined in on the group hug.

"Kushina, how about I meet your parents next time they come ok? no need to introduce me this time." Kyoshi reflexively tried to retreat but kushina caught him.

"But kyoshi kun, my father will absolutely want to meet you." she added."He is very protective of me and loves me very much. He will definitely like you."

Mikoto and Hisane gave kyoshi a look of pity. They knew why kyoshi was trying to forego the meeting.

'R.I.P kyoshi kun! we will definitely cherish our friendship.' was what the looks they were giving him said.

'Fuck! I'm probably going to die due to this airhead and her daughter con father. Dear god, have mercy on this soul.' was what played in his mind.

The culprit though was giving him a bright smile innocently while holding his hand. kyoshi thought if he should remove his hand but decided not to.

'Heh, let's enjoy my final moments of happiness. I'm sorry Naruto, your mother is not your mother from now on.' He apologized.

Kyoshi could have sworn he heard someone calling Home wrecking bastard in the background but all he found was minato running away.

'Huh must have been my imagination.'

well sorry for the filler chapter. but I'm kinda stuck thinking how should I go about this. I know what should happen but step by step is not coming up in my mind. so sorry for the lack of chapter these few days.
