Chapter 2; The Silhouette!?

Somewhere, in a hidden facility, there is someone of unknown origin who suddenly awoke.

"Shit, I didn't save him in time, boss' gonna be mad at me." The man said as he hoisted himself out of the Void-Transmission Tank, or as it's model serial number suggests, VTT650. On the other side of the wide, warehouse like room, a woman in a red, fiery tuxedo with sleek, smooth black hair tied up into a ponytail, walked up to the man silently,

" Where is he? WHERE. IS. CHARLES!!!" The woman screamed out with a mix of worry as she sobbed in dismay.

Many would be surprised, but this man was not, this was his overly emotional boss, otherwise renowned Vector Transportations CEO, Clara Tayarna was searching for her son who had gone missing recently while testing a prototype of their Company's lab.

"Please hear me out boss, I couldn't get to him in time, I'm really sorry... the Alliance got to him first."

" Oh please like your words will make it any better!" Clara claimed with a tone of sass and disrespect. He was a first-class employee in this business yet he still couldn't do something like this. Charles' situation was difficult. He trapped himself in an alternate plane of existence when he shifted into maximum overdrive when he attempted to fly past the stratosphere of the planet. The planet they lived on confined them in this place for so long because anyone who had attempted to leave, just like Charles, disappeared, the only reason this came to light being because it happened to the CEO's son.

Charles woke up to something dripping onto his forehead, it then proceeded to drip up onto the ceiling, which was kind of strange, considering that usually things dripped down because of gravity.

"Why'd it drip up?" Charles stayed confusedly as he followed the red liquid with his eyes as he stared in surprise that he was hanging from the ceiling.

"What the fuck this was not part of the contract!!" Charles yelled in a joking manner. For some reason, some thing unidentifiable because he was upside down managed to reply

"Oh yes it was, it's just that you were too deaf to realize that because you signed in blood, see" the creature smiled as he showed the paper where that red liquid had landed, for some reason, automatically turning into intricate letters which spelled his name, Charles Tayarna.

"Damn this is some Satanic crap that I'd really rather not participate in, would you like cracker in exchange and then I'll be on my way?" Charles said hopefully mixed with fear. Charles was used to near-death experiences after all those times he hunted to survive, he faintly remembered how he had once arrived at this empty wilderness after breaking through the stratosphere and ending up almost dangerously killing himself when he tried to not hit the ground with his prototype suit and ended up having to eject only leaving him with so many seconds before he could pull sharply on his pack and open the parachute".

All this flashed before His eyes as the creature laughed evilly and his body falling down untied into a huge 50 foot pit underneath him.

He fell and the last thing he remembered was hearing a sickening crunch as his body collided with the floor and his blood splashed everywhere, seemingly absorbed by the strange rock floor.

There his body lay as the skin was rapidly devoured and the rest of his body exposed to the laws of the alternate reality, rapidly decaying as his bones yellowed in seconds before turning into dust and eventually disappearing.
