Escape

"Creature has been scanned!" Mythos started running a series of notifications passed by Fei Lei's eyes before Mythos continued speaking, "Target has trace amounts of dragon blood coursing through its veins. Please name the target," Mythos requested.

"Dragon Snake! Simple and to the point," Fei Lei said as he stared at the stats of the beast.

"The Dragon Snake currently has 7 to 8 times more than the current limits of your physical parameters. Its physical strength is equal to that of a peak 5-Star Magical Beast. I suggest that Master retreat and attempt to break through to the 2nd Spell Sigil before resuming battle," Mythos suggested.

"How am I supposed to do that? You know I don't have any Tyrant Cores on hand. Also, there is no known Mantra for a Non-Elemental user," Fei Lei complained before he growled and crossed his arms.

"There are 7 Core Akashic Mantras, along with a supreme physique cultivation method, and a soul cultivation methods that have been stored inside your genetic coding," Mythos explained.

Fei Lei scratched his head before he sighed and ran back quite a distance. He then found a secluded location and started to dig out a cave that was just big enough for him to sit in.

After he finished carving out a small grotto and climbed into it, Fei Lei almost laughed as he said, "Funny, a cave inside a cave."

To make sure that the creatures out there wouldn't find him while he trained, Fei Lei used his telekinesis to place a large boulder in front of the little cave and sealed himself inside of it.

Fei Lei then sat down and started to use his level 0 Innervision spell. He began to stare at his blood and try to seek out the information, locked away in it.

He could see the platelets and the cells of flowing blood, but it wasn't enough.

"Smaller! I need to see even smaller than this!" Fei Lei shouted in his head.

Fei Lei poured in a large quantity of his Mana on his Innervision Spell and focused the magnification to 2 nanometers. Fei Lei then suddenly found himself floating in the center of a massive and complex pattern of his own genetic structure.

Trillions upon trillions of finely woven triple helixes flowed in tandem beside Fei Lei's eyes. The blocks of information shined was a gentle glow that enveloped Fei Lei as traversed the subspace.

Everything looked like a fantastical wonderland, but, one section of his D.N.A, seemed to be blotted out by a black web of spiked chains.

"That must be the seal," Fei Lei thought as he observed his own genetic coding.

"Yes. However, Master Fei Lei is currently too weak to get rid of it, but if you steadily improve the power of your bloodline, you can free yourself from the seal," Mythos replied.

Fei Lei sighed before he asked, "Where should I start?"

Mythos directed him to a golden glowing section in the sea of genetic code, and as they approached the golden strands of D.N.A, Mythos said, "These are the three Core techniques we managed to imprint. The Core Akashic Physique Scripture, the Core Akashic Soul Scripture, and the Core Akashic Mana Scripture! Regrettably, Master Fei Lei's physique and soul aren't strong enough to unlock these two scriptures without turning yourself into a vegetable."

"What, so I can only access the Mana Cultivation method for now? Fei Lei shot back with a look of disappointment.

"Unfortunately, yes. Master must find a way to steadily improve the condition of your soul and physique until they are strong enough to undertake the transfer," Mythos explained.

"What do I have to do?" Fei Lei asked.

"Just peer into it," Mythos replied.

Fei Lei did what Mythos said and felt the information being pulled into his mind before saying, "Core Akashic Mana Scripture, composed of 7 Mantras."

Suddenly the information within his genes exploded and began traveling towards his brain. Fei Lei also noticed that the fragmented memories that he had unlocked thus far, began moving alongside it.

When the information made its way into the new organ in his brain, he suddenly found himself standing in his Soul Realm again while the entire area was going through a change.

The once pure black and white landscape had now been filled with grass, endless blue skies, gentle gusts of winds, and warm sunlight.

The imaginary space was immersive that Fei Lei felt as if he were standing outside in the real world.

Fei Lei then looked around to see a single wooden book shelve forming high into the sky while the memories from his previous life were filling up the shelves with large leatherback books.

What made Fei Lei so astonished was the sheer number of books that were constantly being added by the hundreds. As he walked up to them, Fei Lei discovered that the words being written in the tomes were full of experiences from his previous incarnation's lifetime.

Every book Isac's read, every show he watched, every study or experiment that he conducted, all of it was compiled into written words.

Fei Lei touched one of the books, and as his finger touched the book's spine, a golden spark of energy flew into Fei Lei's brain.

Suddenly, many bits of information about Earth's knowledge and history began to surge throughout Fei Lei's psyche. The memories of Isaac Asimov's early childhood to adulthood came flooding in like a tidal wave.

The memories that had once been fragmented and disorderly, suddenly became organized and concise.

Fei Lei witnessed a time when he was known as Isaac Asimov, the man was already 200 years old, and he had created powerful Nanobots that could slow the aging process significantly.

At this point in time, most humans could live up to 3 to 4 hundred years.

However, this still wasn't good enough for the Professor that wanted to learn all of life's mysteries. In response to his dwindling lifespan, the professor created a special stasis pod that would allow him to sleep for millions of years at a time in suspended animation.

Every time he came out of Stasis, Isaac woke to a world far more advanced than the one he left behind.

He often took off to discover what the new world had to offer, and once he had absorbed all the new information and technology, Isaac would repeat the process of sleeping and learning, over and over again.

Fei Lei pulled his hand back and shook his head in shock, he understood everything that he saw and could recount every conversation he witnessed word for word.

After realizing the purpose of the bookshelf, Fei Lei turned around to see seven scriptures that had been carved into the 7 large golden pillars floating at the center of his soul's landscape.

When Fei Lei attempted to read the scripture, he suddenly felt like there were millions of tiny creatures scrambling throughout the exterior of his brain. Fei Lei's nose began to bleed slightly as the information from the seven scriptures quickly began storing its self into his hippocampus.

As the last of the information settled into various locations along his cerebral cortex, Fei Lei felt all of the information had been stored into his long-term memory banks.

Fei Lei then opened his eyes, returning to the real world, Fei Lei began gasping for air before he said, "None Elemental Mantra. The most supreme Non-Elemental Mantra!"

Fei Lei now had 7 powerful Mantras floating in his head. Earth God Mantra, Fire God Mantra, Water God Mantra, Wind God Mantra, Light God Mantra, Dark God Mantra, and Overgod Mantra.

Sitting down, he began speaking a very ancient and timeless language, the words told a story about an ancient god that came into existence alongside the remaining elemental gods.

It was the story of an Overgod, one that could achieve control over the remaining elements, only because he was none of the elements.

The clear surface of the Overgod could be dyed in all of the colors of the elements.

The mana around him reacted to his words as the 6 elements, Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Light, and Darkness, spontaneously gathered around his body and circled the top of his head like a crown.

Slowly little by little the aura of the six elements became a clear and transparent color.

"A clear fire sank into his head and became the spark of imagination. The clearest of water flowed through his blood and formed the river of souls. The cleanest form of the earth appeared as a shining diamond, becoming his skin bone and muscles that supported the universe. the cleanest air filled his lungs with an infinite source of vitality, giving form to the heavens above. The darkest and purest black became his hair and created the void of space. His eyes shined with all the light of the stars, giving form to reality itself," Fei Lei continued to repeat the mantra.

As if the elements were attracted to his words, they danced and poured themselves into his Clear Mana Core.

His Human Transfiguration Magic Sigil appeared over his forehead and slowly started to grow denser in form.

Seeing the rate at which the elements were being absorbed, Fei Lei noticed that over the years of constantly eating Magical Beast Meat, he had stored a mass of magical beast mana inside the cells of his body.

Without any warning, all the Magical Beast Essence was quickly converted by the Mantra and being sent directly into his Sigil.

As Mana sank into his Sigil, it started to glow.

Fei Lei felt something in his body start to rumble when Mythos called out, "Accessing Mana Layline, activating Spell Sigil Calling Circle," As soon as it said this, a large beam of white light enshrouded the small cave.

Fei Lei once again found himself soaring through the Mana Realm. An infinite number of Level 1 Spell Sigils flew by him like an ocean of characters. Fei Lei's eyes darted back and forth for a few minutes and suddenly saw something that caught his interest.

With a lightning-fast motion, Fei Lei then reached out his hand and grabbed his second Sigil.

"Level 1 Non-Elemental Spell Sigil, Force!" Fei Lei shouted as he lifted his eyelids.

This spell could enhance his control over his Telekinesis to whole new levels, compared to before, he could now lift dozens of times his previous limit.

With the use of his new Force Sigil, Fei Lei could lift 10,000 pounds, easily, and since he was using magic instead of his mutation, the mental strain of using his Telekinesis vanished completely.

IF Fei Lei used his Esper Mutation in conjunction with his Force Sigil, he was capable of pushing out around 12,000 pounds of kinetic energy.

Not to mention the fact that he could control had become countless times more refined, now, Fei Lei can control flames and ice without worrying about bursting a blood vessel.

He surrounded his body in a thin layer of his Telekinetic energy and started to lift his body off the ground, this was something he never would have been able to accomplish through his mutation alone.

The Fei Lei smiled as he moved the boulder in front of his cave and floated to the ground.

Fei Lei moved around and felt that when his fists are coated in his Force Sigil Mana, his physical power was amplified to a whole new level.

Not only did he increase the quantity of his mana by a large margin but also the purity of it was heightened as well, at the moment, Fei Lei felt as if he could take on the world.

Punch after punch, kick after kick, Fei Lei practiced his Katas in amazement. The wind made sharp cutting noises as his hands and feet struck out with insane speed and force.

Fei Lei smiled and cracked his fist while thinking back on how the monstrous dragon-snake nearly turned him into food, he then smiled showing his canines and said, "I think some payback is in order."

Fei Lei walked into the cavern and created a pair of telekinetic hands with the aid of his Force Sigil, and was surprised to discover that, even without putting a large amount of focus into making the hands, Fei Lei managed to increase the size from 5feet to 10feet.

Using his Force Sigil, Fei Lei excited the molecules around the hand-like telekinetic construct, causing them to burst into flames and light up the surroundings.

Fei Lei checked his nose and laughed before he said, "Good, no blood."

Switching gears, Fei Lei slowed the molecules in the telekinetic hand until it quickly froze over into a large ice sculpture. Fei Lei then began to bend and shape the giant ice hand into a fist and punched out with it.

A loud explosion shook the room as the fist created a ten-foot imprint of a pair of knuckles.

Fei Lei whistled as he pulled back the ice hands and said, "Not a chip or blemish on it. Nice!"

Fei Lei then headed back to the location where the serpent lived.

Along the journey back, he played with his telekinesis in a variety of ways. Shaping it, encasing his body in it, and even layering it.

When he got close enough to the Snake's den, Fei Lei didn't even bother to hide his presence this time.

The Dragon Fang Snake sensed his arrival as Fei Lei invoked his killing intent and charged towards him in a blind-rage.

Infuriated by Fei Lei's returning presence, it sought to make him its dinner, unfortunately for the monster, Fei Lei was a different person compared to the last time they fought.

Fei Lei activated all of his Physical Enhancement Spells and leaped forward.

The creature was taken by surprise by Fei Lei's new speed and tried to dodge.

Fei Lei dashed towards it and hit the creature with a flying kick enhanced by his Force Sigil.

The Dragon-Snake roared as its body flew back and crashed against the ground, dust and stone were ripped from the ground as the creature clawed its way back on to its feet.

Fei Lei grinned as he flew over and dropped his heal on the snakes head.

The snake's head crashed into the ground while it stared at Fei Lei with bloodshot eyes.

Fei Lei then grabbed the creature's neck and lifted its body off of the ground before he fell backward with the snake in tow.

A loud boom went off as the creature went belly up and crashed into the ground, Fei Lei laughed as he said, "That's called a pile driver, and this..."

The snake could do nothing against Fei Lei as it could only watch him hop into the air and slam the snake's stomach with a 10-foot fire fist.

The snake roared out in pain as it tried to snap it quickly maneuvered its neck and tried to snap its jaws around the upper half of Fei Lei's body.

Fei Lei didn't look worried at all, with a wave of his hand, the Ice-Fist smacked into the creature's face and sent it flying across the room.

Fei Lei flew to its side again and grabbed its tail before saying, "I wonder what dragon snake taste like?"

The creature wailed out in pain as Fei Lei pulled out his Clear Mist Treasure and channeled his telekinesis and the Force Sigil through it.

The sword extended its transparent blade to 15feet as he cut through the creature's head in one fell swoop.

"Incredible, as long as I use my Force Sigil to enhance my physique, then I'm almost four times stronger than my base strength. My Level 0-Boost was more than enough to handle this monster, " Fei Lei said as he withdrew his blade and stored it in his spatial ring.

While Fei Lei inspected the creature's body, he noticed that it wasn't a magical beast, because there was no Mana Core in its heart.

Mythos scanned the corpse and told Fei Lei, "It's not in the heart, the core is located on the creature's brain.

Fei Lei then used his telekinesis to retrieve a thick core from the Dragon-Snake's brain.

When the strange orb flew into Fei Lei's hand, he noticed that the fist-sized gem looked like a round cut diamond, and at the center of it was a small, little, itty-bitty, snake soul.

While he looked over the core, Mythos suddenly appeared and absorbed it, the living A.I then hummed happily as he said, "1-Star Spirit Core absorbed."

Fei Lei smiled and asked, "What? That useful for you?"

"If I absorb enough Spirit Stones I can level up to an Earthly treasure, and when that happens, I will unlock a new function," Mythos replied.

"How many do you need?" Fei Lei asked.

Mythos then answered, "The current progress until the next level is at 0.04%"

"That much?!" Fei Lei asked with a tone of disbelief.

"You could always allow me to absorb more of the Ather Crystals you collected. If you use all that you've gathered, it would place the percentages at 13.04%" Mythos informed Fei Lei as it bounced around his head.

"No. If it's that little, then I think it's better to save them for other things." Fei Lei said as he looked at the Dragon Snake once last time before storing its body in his spatial ring.

Fei Lei was about to leave the area when he suddenly spotted something out of the corner of his eyes.

A large pool of milky white-colored liquid was dripping down a large stalagmite and into a pool of water.

Fei Lei smelled the water to see if anything was wrong with it when his nose was assaulted by a pleasant scent of flowers and the morning dew dripping off springtime grass. He didn't know what the substance was, but if the Dragon-Snake was defending it, then he thought it might be worth taking.

Storing up the liquid in his spatial ring, Fei Lei left the area and headed deeper into the cave. Along the way, he discovered a few more Ather deposits and pulled them into his spatial ring as well.

However, they were being guarded by those large faced bats. When Fei Lei inspected them, he noticed that they looked like a cross between a horse and a flying rat.

The Spiritual Beasts had long protruding noses, large sharp talons, razor-sharp teeth, 5ft wingspans, and long pointed ears.

When he attempted to approach them, Fei Lei was swarmed by a flock of these monsters.

He created his telekinetic hands again, but this time he made one hand as cool as Ice and the other flaming hot.

Fei Lei clapped his telekinetic hands together and created a blast that of steam that reached 200 °C, countless bat monsters fell to the ground dead with the first few layers of their skin steam-cooked.

After extracting their cores, Fei Lei wandered around a bit longer and eventually ended up in at a dead end. "I guess there's nowhere else to go, but to backtrack," Fei Lei said as he started looking up.

"Hahh, I'm tired of this cave, I miss my own!" Fei Lei declared as started flying upward.

He then slowly used his telekinesis to drill a path as he dug his way to the surface.

After several hours, his telekinetic drill breached out of the surface of the soil and Fei Lei flew out of the tunnel into the open air.

Taking a deep breath, Fei Lei enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight as shined down on him.

When he opened his eyes, he forgot to undo his Ultra-Violet Vision and laughed, "Opps, better fix that,"
