Chapter 6 Fire Ball

Its been a week since Taiyuan started training under Elder Ming's guidance and he has been improving at an incredible rate he can now sense both mana and battle ki as he noticed that there are a few similarities in both energys. He can now also minipulate his mana to travel all around his body and even push a little out to control a small area of space for example, blowing a candle out with just his mana.

When Taiyuan felt comfortable using his mana he decided he would try practicing his fire element. Elder Ming went and got a few candles and lit them for Taiyuan and guided him through the process after a few tries Taiyuan started to feel less of a burning heat coming from the candles but instead he felt a more smoothing heat that feels easier to control.

After a few more minutes of getting used to the feeling Taiyuan decided to try pull the heat and channel it through his body he proceeded to do this in a constant cycle for a few hours till it became seconf nature to him. Elder Ming then told him to try casting the basic fire ball spell, Taiyuan read through the manual to see how to do it and he felt pretty confident.

"Sala" said Taiyuan holding up his hand and channeling all the fire element mana he could through his finger tips, seconds later fire started to build up in his hand and take the shape of a sphere exept it was not balanced and looked quite deformed, after a while the fire started to calm down and take more of a spherical shape but just as he was about to finish.

"young lord.....Taiyuan" called Elder Ming, "what happened" replied Taiyuan holding his head trying to remember what just happened

"you were about to cast the fire ball spell but because of your low mana reserve and next to no experience casting spells you fainted from exhaustion.... I knew this would happen but i just wanted to show you that your not perfect.. You need to train and maintain a bit of mana or you will pass out from both mental or physical exhaustion"

"altho im surprised you were able to get that far into the spell on your first try" said Eldet Ming, Taiyuan still recovering his mana tried to comprehend what he had just tried to do and how he could make it less of a strain on his mana and take less time to fire "young lord for the next few days i want you to practise using your mana and pulling in heat energy from all different things and when you feel confident try using your own heat energy as a source... Once you can cast fire ball come back to me and i will teach you some other spells and how too train them and hoe you can incorporate fire into martial arts"

"By next week i will have also found your martial arts teacher... now off you go i believe your father has prepared a feast for you", Taiyuan thanked Elder Ming and started walking home on his way home he kept practicing the mana control techniques Elder Ming taught him,
