"Which shop are we headed to?" Jian asked as she grabbed the helmet from John. He placed the bag away taking out his own helmet as he replied, "I was hoping we could grab lunch first then go shopping. I haven't really eaten yet."

Jian nodded asking, "Well sure, so can you let me know the shop's name so that I can search for a restaurant nearby, or no?" He smiled saying, "Nope, we are going on a fun day so no planning and just fun. Come let's go!" She sighed as she got on after him.

"John, you couldn't tell me that the restaurant would be half an hour away?" Jian said as she got off and took the helmet off. John smiled saying, "I didn't think it was too far. Anyways let's go get something to eat." He said as he placed the helmets away.

"Wait I need my purse," Jian said and he shook his head, "Lunch is on me remember?" She smiled as they walked towards the elevator of the parking lot.

"How about Italian?" John asked as Jian nodded looking at the different builds. She hasn't traveled much of New York since it hasn't been long since they moved, but it felt good to go and explore the city with a new friend.

"So where is the shop you were talking about anyway?" She asked not seeing any clothing shop nearby. "Oh it's not on this street we have to walk a bit further to get there," He said and she nodded. John smiled holding the door for her before walking in himself. "Table for two please," He said as the waiter nodded and took them to a table.

"Here is the menu let us know when you are ready to order." He said and the two nodded as he walked away. "Do you know Italian?" John asked as he saw her try to read from the Italian section of the menu.

She smiled answering, "Yes but not a lot, my mother taught me the basics when I was younger just to communicate and read paragraphs." He nodded smiling and asked, "Do you wanna order in Italian?"

She frowned shaking her head and saying, "No unless the staff talks to you in Italian, my mother has instructed me to not speak in the same language. They usually don't like it." He nodded asking, "So what other languages do you know?"

Jian smiled saying, "I know English of course, and Italian, a little bit of Mandarin and Spanish, but just for casual conversation, because I haven't studied them." John frowned asking, "Then how do you learn?" She chucked as he found the answer to his question immediately after asking.

The two continued their conversation for a long time and soon they were done. They had enjoyed a beautiful lunch and as they exited the restaurant John opened another conversation by asking, "So do you have any other family than your mother?"
