Fabric Shopping

"Johnny, are you busy today?" Jian asked as she passed him a water bottle. He smiled and responded, "No, I have the weekend off, is there something you want to do?" She nods before saying, "I want to go buy more fabric, do you think you'll be able to go with me today?" He nods and she smiles saying, "I am going to get changed then."

Jian wore a white knitted sweater, sheer tights and a black skirt with gold buttons, and gold accessories. She grabbed a simple long tan trench coat holding the phone to her ears saying, "Ya mum I know, we will be back before 9."

"So where are we going exactly?" John asked, waiting for Jian to grab her things. "We are going to a shop and out for dinner. My mother recently took me fabric shopping there and I was hoping to get some more since I really like the colors there," she said walking outside her room. She grabbed her keys and put her shoes on as John waited outside the door.

"Did you drive a car?" Jian asked, closing the door and he nodded saying, "I didn't feel like riding the bike." She grinned saying, "Then I can get the other roles this time." He smiled at her as they walked into the elevator and soon drove to Isabella's fabric shop.

"Isabella, it's me Jian, I came with a friend." Jian said as she opened the doors. "Jian," she murmured a few times before she asked, "Is Jessica not with you?" She walked out from behind the counter hearing Jian say, "No, I came with my friend. His name is Johnny." Jian turned to look at him and he smiled saying, "Hello, it's nice to meet you." Isabella nodded asking, "Does your mother know you have a boyfriend?"

Jian blushed and replied quickly saying, "No, anyways do you have anything like the light blue suit fabric I bought last time." She changed the topic and Isabella laughed before saying, "I do it upstairs, Johnny right can you help me get some fabric bundles out since you are here?" She asked and he nodded following Isabella as Jian went upstairs.

...

Jian spent hours choosing fabric and by the time Johnny had gone up she had close to dozens of roles ready. "Jian, don't you think this is a little too much?" Johnny asked, noticing the large amount of material.

Jian sighed before saying, "I guess I did get a little carried away, but look, these are so pretty, and they are the perfect shade of blue, plus they are sheer, and I need them. I will not get the whole bundle just a few yards, and I also really want to make something similar to this dress I saw online so I need the white lace and white cotton fabric." Johnny's expression softens as he leans against the table, and she continues to explain why she needs all the materials.

After a few minutes she finished and he smiled straightening up saying, "Jian, how about picking out the top 3 projects you want to work on most right and getting materials for them. Then we can come back once you finish 2 of the 3 projects."

She pouted a little but took his words into account as she taught for a few minutes. He waited and she said, "Alright, it's a good idea but I am taking all three roles, and the other materials." He nods as she points to a few of the roles, and he takes those down.
