Jealousy

Jian smiled as they all walked towards the door. "I gotta get Kira home, it's almost her curfew," William said before he walked out to get the car.

Johnny was about to walk out when Jian said, "Johnny, I want to grab a drink at the cafe down the street before we leave," he nodded and Kira said, "Should we go together?" Nicki smiled responding, "Nope, sorry Kira but not today, I will bring you some tomorrow, alright bye guys." Nicki waved as Nick also hugged Jian goodbye before leaving.

"Excuse me," the two heard just as they were about to leave. "Yes," Jian said, turning around and she noticed it was Liam.

"Sorry, I know it's a lame thing but umm you are really pretty and also my type, here it's my number and my Instagram is on the back, text me if you're interested or just wanna talk." He said holding out a card and she glanced at it before another hand reached for it.

"There's no need, but thanks for the offer," Johnny said as he curled up the card. Liam flinched a little after seeing Johnny's cold stare, he nodded before quickly going back. Jian turned to Johnny only for him to walk towards the door as she noticed the hint of redness on his ears, and she held a gentle smiled.

"I thought you said I could choose to take his number," she teased walking out and he tried to hold a stoic expression and ignored her. "Johnny do not ignore me, otherwise I will go back and get his number."

His head turned sharply as his jaws lightly clenched, and she giggled saying, "Jealousy looks nice on you." He looked away trying to calm his fast-beating heart as they arrived at the cafe.

"You should get something cold to cool your head," Jian suggested in a playful tone as they walked inside. "One milk tea please, with extra pearls, and little ice," Jian ordered as she reached for her card. "Use mine," Johnny said, noticing his card was inside.

He turned to the cashier saying, "Coconut tea, with no ice and 50% sweetness." Jian used his card to pay and handed it back to him only for him to say, "Keep it, next time use this card to order." She giggled as they moved towards the waiting line. The two got their drinks before going back to Jian's place.

"When's your mom getting home?" Johnny asked as he sat down after moving all the fabrics to Jian's room. She smiled and responded, "Maybe around 12, she texted about needing to clean up someone else's error for a case hearing tomorrow."

"Jian, should I leave a change of clothes here?" He asked and she smiled saying, "Sure, there's room in my closet and you probably don't feel comfortable wearing formal clothing all day."

He sighed saying, "It's not uncomfortable, just a little too much to wear at home." She was about to sit down next to him when an idea came to mind. "Johnny help me with something please?" She asked and he looked wide eyed at her grinning face.
