One Step Beyond

In the blink of an eye, the natural strong fire energy contained within the Scorched Inferno's Fang was pulled into the Ultima Sygrix. Then, in the same breath, the Ultima Sygrix latched onto the Scorched Inferno's Fang's blade.

The spear's blade became twisted and distorted before completely disappearing, leaving only the Scorched Inferno's Fang that resembled a staff. However, that was only what one would realize without a skill similar to Izroth's Spatial Awareness.

From Izroth's perspective, the blade of the Scorched Inferno's Fang had lost its marvelous sheen and was replaced by a deep ethereal coating. The blade also seemed to be bending in several different directions simultaneously—as if the space that surrounded it was in a constant state of change.

Not long after the Ultima Sygrix fused with the Scorched Inferno's Fang, Izroth could feel the spear trembling in his hands.
