The Tarantula King opened its eyes and cried out. Then it took off into the sky, flew, and then landed. Then it took off again excitedly. It was not as fast as the Horned Bee Beasts or Gargoyles, but it had the advantage in that it could fly higher in the sky. Looking at its giant wings, Yang Ling estimated that its flying stamina would be far greater than that of the Horned Bee Beasts and Gargoyles.

"Oh, a Flying Spider?" the Heavenly Fox Yuna watched the newly evolved Tarantula King, its giant wings and tightly-knit scales, and began to recall an ancient legend passed through the generations of the Beastmen.

It was rumored that hundreds of millions of years ago, the God of War descended upon the Tailun Continent and created all living things, including the Beastmen. Amongst those creatures, the god also created a fierce guardian beast - the Flying Spider.
