After subjugating the souls of a few Sea Demons and members of the Sea Tribe and obtaining their memories, Yang Ling soon gained a basic understanding of the history of the Evil Demon Island.

As it turned out, throughout history, because of the differences in their habits and faith, the Sea Demon Tribe had always been discriminated against by the other members of the Sea Tribe. They did not have a territory belonging to them, nor a stable source of food. The generations of Sea Demons had no choice but to wander around the vast ocean, suffering from disease and hunger. No other Sea Tribes were willing to accept them, and no one sympathized with their plight. They wandered around the ocean like the gypsies back on Earth.
