Liu Zilong understood that it's pretty normal to doubt but the conviction of his younger brother gave him the moment he asked to match the DNA record of the woman to Han Meixiu, amazed him.
"How did you know by the way?" He curiously asked.
Liu Zijian looked at the report his brother was initially holding and now was lying flat on his side.
The clinic where the woman was found gave him an indescribable doubt. Even though it's considered the nearest, as someone who just came in accidentally, she wouldn't know instantly there's a clinic in that area given the time frame.
That place was also not so crowded and could be considered deserted specially during that time of the night. It was as if she deliberately went there knowing that the place didn't have enough working cctvs to be checked on.
But since it was only his assumptions, he wanted to confirm his doubts by seeing his 'wife'.
"I saw that woman."
"I've heard. But didn't you only talk for few minutes?" Liu Zilong probed. He heard how their mother complained with the treatment his younger brother did.
"That was enough." He simply answered and inhaled deeply. How could someone deceive him? The very first moment he met his wife he's been already observing her. Every single mannerisms and reactions she showed whether consciously or subconsciously, he's already familiar with them.
The moment the woman came in, his small doubt already magnified.
For starters, her hair was considerably shorter than his wife. He remembered how Han Meixiu complained that she's getting more and more bed hairs because her hair was getting longer. There was also that small uneven cut near her ear that he personally assisted to trim the night prior to the abduction.
Her movement, her facial expression and even the way she expressed her nervousness were totally different from that woman. Even if she claimed she couldn't remember anything, those subtle body reactions would never changed. Liu Zijian believed that even though her conscious mind forgot who she was, her subconscious would still remember, thus small simple gestures couldn't be changed easily.
But he had to admit, who ever prepared this woman to posed as his wife, did a good job to imitate her physical appearance. If he's not as observant as he was, he could also believe that she's indeed Han Meixiu.
His mom was an example. Maybe because Madam Liu was too worried and emotional to notice those subtle differences. He already made a mistake when he let his emotions out of control. He didn't want to happen it again. Thus he always tried to calm himself and think objectively.
Liu Zilong couldn't help to raise his eyebrow to show his amusement. Even though he wanted to ask further, he knew this brother of his would not give him satisfactory answer or opt to not answer at all.
"It seems that you really know her well." Liu Zilong commented.
"Isn't it normal?" Liu Zijian asked.
"Well,..." Liu Zilong normally wanted to say 'no' but later changed his mind. It's better for his younger brother to believe this way since it gave him good result identifying a fake Han Meixiu.
"Do you have an idea where is sister in law? Or who took her?"
Liu Zijian tightly closed his eyes before he released a heavy breathing. There were many angles in her disappearance. It wouldn't be that easy.
Those original kidnappers only wanted to get information to whoever was the trainee they could get. They could not prepare a replica given that period of time. Besides, they clearly didn't know that the person they took was Han Meixiu. In addition, his wife was wearing a mask. Upon investigating, Han Meixiu was indeed the one who ran and was able to escape. The strands of hair left on that wig were indeed hers.
The questions were, when did they change the two people? Was it during the escape? Or was it when she was left alone in that clinic? And who are they, the people who took her? What is their purpose?
The first question was answered when they checked the cctv of the clinic. After arriving the woman didn't leave. Unfortunately, they could only get the one from inside the clinic as the area didn't have cctv thus they didn't know which direction she came from.
He decided to start in that Yang's Family property.
"You said there was a gathering on that day?"
"Yes. I already have the list. You think she was abducted by one of the attendees?" Liu Zilong has this kind of initial conclusion.
"Probably."
"But the event happened earlier that day." Liu Zilong argued. If an attendee was indeed the one who abducted her sister in law, it meant that person stayed longer even after the event ended.
"The last set of people who left the Yang's Family property?" Liu Zijian asked.
"It was a bit hard to acquired as we had to check only the nearby monitoring system. But we narrowed to three groups."
"Who are they?"
"Zhang Yu, Chen Dewei and a person named Madam Bai."

Few days ago in Southern part of Q City, the mansion that was constructed extravagantly with a man made lake on it's west part, changed. But very few people knew about it. Someone came and someone left.
Most of the servants continued their work every single day. There was only an additional female doctor who stayed in the mansion longer than necessary. But then again, there would always be doctors all through out the year coming in and out of the mansion, so this case wasn't really new to them.
One thing that the servants could notice was the usual Young Mistress that was having a 'special' training was transferred to the most beautiful room of the mansion.
Most of them thought that maybe finally, her training to be the young mistress of the house already ended.
"I don't really understand what you want." Female doctor Su Fei Lan. She's a bit irritated with this young man in front of her. Although they would be considered 'friends', she's still being careful around him.
"You don't need to understand. Just do what I asked you to." The young man answered. His voice sounded enigmatic and coupled with a slight smile on his face, could make most of the woman in the city fall under his spell.
The female doctor was actually one of them. But knowing him now and how sinister he could be, she was extremely thankful she didn't fall too hard under his spell. She was able to control herself. Women who pitifully became victims didn't really end well.
"You know that sleeping too much isn't healthy."
"Until we finish the process, we can't wake her up. It won't take that long. Besides, there would be always a therapy that would help her."
