"Hello Miss Han." Liu Zilong greeted the woman warmly who seemed to forget to blink upon seeing him. "I'm afraid you don't know me yet since you forgot your memories. I'm Liu Zilong. I'm Zijian's older brother."

He continued maintaining the smile that would make anyone welcome his presence.

Han Meili stared at him for a couple of second before she could gather herself and reacted accepting the extended hand in front of her.

Who wouldn't fall from the charm of this man. If actually she could choose between the two, she would choose Liu Zilong in a second without a doubt.

Back then when she was still having a wonderful life as a young miss of the Han Family, most of her friends adored this young master. It was actually only her that fantasized Chen Dewei.

"Zijian isn't here..." She shyly said and lowered her gaze looking bashful.

Liu Zilong observed the woman. He was somewhat puzzled. Why was she acting this way? Was she plotting something?

He came here to get information they need to find the real Han Meixiu without alerting the person behind this woman.

"Have you eaten dinner?" He asked.

"I..haven't.. I was waiting for my husband to come back..."

"Oh. He must have been very busy. Would you mind if I join you?" Based from her reactions, Liu Zilong could more or less guess what she was planning.

He smiled hiding the displeasure that has been building up inside him since he came in.

"No, I don't...But would it be okay...if only the two of us? I mean.." the woman hesitantly asked. Stealing glances from time to time to check his reaction. But she couldn't see any changes, as if the man was used to meeting his sister-in-law privately.

"Of course. We always do it, when my brother's busy." He answered maintaining his composure and his signature smile. Of course it was a big fat lie.

Inwardly, he's already cursing. 'This damn woman, was thinking we're having an affair.' If that brother of his heard even if it's only a baseless idea, he really didn't know what would Little Zi do.

He understood his brother why he couldn't face this woman without wanting to tear off the face she has. He actually had an urge to do so but he has a mission, thus he needed to play well.

The woman coughed and blushed after she heard his words. 'I was right!'

The two leisurely went to the dining area where the food was being served.

The people were already positioned outside just in case a mishap might happen. This night would be the longest night for Liu Zijian.

He was nervous and worried. He couldn't actually stay in one place for longer than a minute.

He was hoping that they would find his wife in one of those residences.

Just a piece of information. That's what he needs.

If Han Meixiu was indeed held captive in one of the residences, he swore to himself that he would tore down the place.

1am. He would get an initial report during that time. The security system and power supply would be triggered and their people would only have few minutes to check the entire place. Since they were able to acquire the floor plan of those residences, it would be easier.

He just hoped the result would be positive.

Back in mansion, Han Meixiu was 'grilling' the doctor with her questions. Though she maintained her innocent smile, the doubt on her mind was increasingly getting confirmed. There were indeed false information Doctor Su was telling her.

The statement that her husband loved her dearly kept on popping out of the doctor's mouth as if she wanted Han Meixiu to remember it and forget all of her other queries.

It was already midnight when she finally let the doctor go.

Right after Doctor Su returned to her room, she contacted Chen Dewei to report the behavior of her patient. But unfortunately, she couldn't connect to him.

Han Meixiu requested to skip the therapy tonight as she wanted to practice her shooting more. She said that she's feeling better and didn't have 'nightmares' thus it simply wasn't needed.

But Han Meixiu's questions, seemed to be probing about the truth and in most cases she couldn't answer them properly.

As a doctor, it was normal for her to feel uncomfortable when she's lying thus her words were somewhat sloppy. Besides, the information she practiced several times, didn't contain the answer needed by the young woman.

She already did her part. Could she just leave? Tomorrow was the last day of the conference and she badly wanted to attend. She couldn't seem to settle her worries down as she walked back and forth inside her room.

She tried calling Chen Dewei again but she was redirected to his voicemail box again. She didn't much have of a choice thus she reported her 'observation'.

'He would definitely check his voicemail box, right?' She said inwardly. After sometime convincing herself to calm down, she took a hot bath.

Han Meixiu on the other hand didn't go to the indoor shooting area though she was still carrying her gun.

She was walking leisurely outside the mansion observing people who were guarding the place.

To her, this place was like a glorified prison. It's not normal to have this kind of security. Her 'husband' said he has many enemies thus he should always ensure her safety.

It's a good explanation, if it's indeed true. But if it's not, then this set up was alarming. It seemed that she's being held captive.

If she's indeed being held against her will, did it mean that her 'husband' was not in his right mind? Why would he keep a woman against her will? Based from his physical appearance, he wouldn't have shortage of women lining to date or marry him, right? There must be some other reason.

Should she try to escape?

If she could actually escape, where would she go? Her memory was clearly unreliable.

But if it's really for her protection, then should she be thankful?

As she walked leisurely around while analyzing her situation, she found out that there's part of the mansion where the security seemed to be lacking.

During the day, especially when the sun was setting on the horizon, this place could be considered the best. The man made lake would subtly reflect the warm sunset and the colorful sky.

At night, the scenery although mostly covered with darkness, could calm her mind.

She took a seat facing the lake covered with few light's reflection around. Even without looking at her back, she knew someone was just few steps away from her.

Probably an assigned body guard to either really guard her or monitor her.

She removed the ring on her finger. It didn't make sense. The doctor told her that she didn't lose weight. She actually gained. But why was this ring not her size?
