The morning of an early winter helped cooled down the chaos of the previous night.
It brought multiple and different emotions to the people involved.
In one side of the Liu residence, Mr. Liu and Liu Zilong were seriously having a morning discussion.
The current head of the Liu Family was demanding an explanation from his first son about what happened the previous night.
Liu Zilong knew this would be coming as they didn't ask their father's permission to move last night. Having only few hours of sleep before he was summoned by their father, he's feeling a bit on the edge.
He knew that if their father found out that they moved without much preparation, he would be furious.
Besides, although there wasn't really a big fight, there were some minor casualties.
After Liu Zilong 'reported' he observed his father.
The older Liu's expression didn't change. It maintained it's dignified appearance akin to a man of authority. If this man wasn't his father, he would actually thought he didn't have any weakness.
"Where is Little Zi?" Mr. Liu asked. Although he really wanted to get angry, he couldn't. He perfectly understood his younger son. He was also in that situation way back then. But he couldn't ignore the fact that both of his sons acted without informing him.
Although it wasn't the first time the two young masters collaborated without his knowledge, last night was the first involving numerous people plus the fact that the plan wasn't even well prepared.
It was good that nothing major happened and the goal was eventually achieved, but in most cases, reality wouldn't be so forgiving.
"Still in that hotel." Liu Zilong answered.
Mr. Liu released a heavy breath. "You both know the consequences of your action."
"We're ready."
"Does your mother know?"
"Not yet. If Mom knows that her daughter in law is back, then those two would be disturbed." Liu Zilong nonchalantly answered. When he talked to Liu Zijian last night, told him to handle first their father as he would settle something first.
Mr. Liu couldn't agree more thus he nodded. Knowing Madam Liu, she would have barged in already and accompany the young woman to the hospital or probably bombard her with endless questions.
"Dad, there was another group who went there." Liu Zilong remembered the report of his subordinate when they finally back last night.
"As long as they didn't inflict damage to us, we don't need to worry. The enemy of your enemy is your friend."
Liu Zilong nodded. In a way those people helped. Since they wasn't their target then he shouldn't worry.
He was just curious what those people need and why they 'attack' at the same time they did.
Was it coincidence?

The sun has long been risen but the young couple was still leisurely lying on the bed.
Both were actually awake but didn't move as if feigning ignorance of their involvement the night before.
When Han Meixiu woke up, she was surprised with their position.
To be specific, her position.
Her head was comfortably placed on his bare and solid chest and her arm was possessively wrapped around his waist.
Even one of her legs was lying on top of his'.
She wanted to applaud her sleeping self for ending up in this kind of position.
The skin to skin contact made the warmth from both of their bodies freely travel interchangeably.
Since the young man was seemingly unperturbed by this set up, she thought he was still sleeping thus she even moved her head softly, obviously feeling blissful.
Like a little kitten seeking attention to it's owner.
To her surprise, the man's hand that was softly resting on top of her head moved slowly, stroking her head until his finger tips would gently let go the strands of her hair. It was a movement with a subtle rhythm that contained a silent music of gentleness.
Although she was indeed caught off guard, she honestly enjoyed it. It was too relaxing to the point that her entire being was transported back to the beautiful dreamland she just visited.
Liu Zijian was actually lost in thought. When he felt the movement of the young woman, his hand voluntarily moved.
An indication that he's been doing it several times that his own body would just move on its own without further ado.
It wasn't Han Meixiu who openly wrapped her arm around him. It was actually him who pulled in the young woman as she was still like before, she would slip out of his embrace from time to time.
When he woke up, his wife was facing the other side and only her legs were tangled with his underneath the quilt.
Feeling that she's moving away further, he slowly re-positioned her.
What has been the young man thinking?
Liu Zijian knew that the moment he would get up, he needed to call his father or probably meet him to accept whatever the consequences of his actions the previous day. Although his brother would probably be there, his presence still needed as he's the main 'instigator'.
His mother would surely find out that his wife was back thus she would insist to visit the hospital for check up now that Han Meixiu seemed to really forget her memories.
Since he would be busy, his mother might be the one to accompany her, decreasing their time together.
Now that she's back, what he wanted was spend time with her. But he knew it wouldn't be easy.
He could only wait for the night to come.
But what if he would be sent somewhere or his wife would be confined in a hospital?
With these kind of thoughts swirling on his mind, he chose to delay the possible actions of the people around them.
Although there were still multiple questions left unanswered since last night, he didn't want to think about them yet.
He looked at the woman who seemed sleeping and glanced at the wall clock silently ticking as if reminding him to finally move.
He sighed and closed his eyes again, ignoring the reminder of the clock.
However, he abruptly opened them again.
"It's almost 12nn!"
This little woman sleeping soundly needed to eat.
He reached out to his phone and as what he expected, he had multiple missed calls and numerous unread messages.
After checking if his wife's clothes were already prepared, Liu Zijian gently shook her. She's a light sleeper to begin with except if she's really tired like last night. Since Han Meixiu had already enough sleep, it wasn't hard to wake her up.
The subtle movement made the young woman opened her eyes in confusion looking somewhat lost.
