It was a few hours later and Zack had woken up and after getting over his confusion and fear of being infected and freaking out over Luther's eyes he started talking to Alex.While Luther was sitting on the couch whilst looking at his hand and prodding at the cracks here and there.He wonder if he would be able to control the power in his hand or at least understand it.
Whilst Luther was chilling Zack and Alex were talking to each other whilst counting the supplies left."So it was this weird vines that helped me?"-Zack
"Yea I know it sounds weird put I saw it and it was really creepy I even thought it was trying to eat you"-Alex
"So how's Luther doing with the hand situation then I mean it's got to be at least weird and his hands probably different too"-Zack
"Actually he's fine if anything after the vines helped you instead of harming he was realy excited and was looking at it like some little kid"-Alex
"Hey guys"-Luther
Luther cam into the room and showed Alex's and Zack that he manged to do something with his hand.Zack stared seeing a small little vines wiggling around from his hand and then Luther said
"Ok so I manged to actually bring out a vine and now look at this"-Luther
He then he closed his eyes and the vine started to quickly grow bigger with spikes all over it turing into a much more deadly weapon.
Alex and Zack stared in awe as they couldn't believe he actually could control it luther then turned and pointed his hand at a wall.The vine extended and made a small indent in the wall since Luther didn't want a massive hole in the wall.
He quickly pulled back the vine into his hand with a smile on his face whilst Alex and Zack look with the mouths wide open.
"what..the..hell I want to do that too!"-Zack he said whilst grabbing Luther's arm and looking at the gem in his hand that was slightly bigger than it was before.
"How..how did yo do that?"-Alex
"Yea! yea! how?"-Zack
"Well I guess it was both mental a physical like I could feel it and then just thought of doing it then it just worked.I had to control it so as to not whip me forward and knock me back but also control the force on the wall but its still really cool!"-Luther
"woah so awesome!"-Zack
"Yea I guess but any way have we got enough food and water?"-Luther
"Yea but it's only 1 weeks worth of food so we will have to go and get some soon"-Alex
They all then went into the living room and tried seeing if the tv or radio would work and they mostly got the same things.Which was either static or a outbreak image telling people to stay indoors but there was some how.Still a few working channels but it was just mostly boring ones like government talk shows or bingo channels.
Whilst Luther and Zack was flicking through the channels Alex was on the radio since it took him awhile to understand how it worked.He started tunning the radio changing different channels and most were people asking for supplies.But none talked about a safe place or a government camp so Alex just continued changing channels.
(1 week later)
They had eaten all the food and were preparing to leave Luther's room so they could scavenge through some near by houses and shops.
They took 5 hours mostly taking back alley ways so that the zombies wouldn't see them they manged to get a good amount of supplies.That would last them for nearly 2 weeks Luther also manged to use his what he called vine whip to knock back the zombies that came too close however he couldn't use it. To much since he would get some fatigue afterwards but he still manged to get some experince.
When they came back home however there was a small square hole in the door which alarmed them.Since it didn't look like a zombie broke in since it was to persise cut so the only other option was a human.Since Luther would be able to squeeze through the hole if he tried.They all griped there weapons and slowly walked in whilst checking the kitchen and supplies room.Until they reached the living room and saw a small tank looking metal boxs with a purple sticker on it and a screen.
"ur...the hell is that?"-Alex
The box turned around so the screen faced Luther,Alex and Zack and said it's greetings.
"Hello..i am commanders a.i assistant"-BOX System
"Dud this box can talk?"-Zack
"You know what I'm not even surprised really"-Alex
"Um..sorry there's no commander here"-Luther
"Incorrect commander is currently in front of me standing behind him his two lieutenants"-BOX System
"Huh..you..mean I'm commander?"-Luther
"Correct"-BOX System
"Wait what do you mean his lieutenants?"-Alex
"Oh has commander not assigned his lieutenants yet you should of had ample time"-BOX System
"Wait wait why are you calling me commander is it because of the weird thing in my hand?"-Luther
"Correct the commander allowed you to gain it's power now you are the commander"-BOX System
"So that thing was the so called commander?"-Alex
"Correct..it seems commander has limited knowleadge of the current situation should I explain it to commander?"-BOX System
"Finally yes do it"-Luther
