Into The Wild Wrong World

YIKES. Buggy jumped as he saw a squirrel run past him. He tried to catch the little thing but only managed to brush it bushy tail. He growled angrily.

" It's okay Buggy it was a dumb squirrel anyway. We only eat smart ones. " Moons joke was meant to make Buggy fell better but it made him feel worse. If it was a dumb squirrel then he should be able to catch it. Right? He pondered over this for a while. Pine had been leading for a while now. Buggy never really thought about it but Moon seemed like a leader. A natural born leader. Pine seemed like a wise king. Himself a loyal friend of the king. Star would be part of an elite group of battle dragons. He stopped himself. Pretending to have there own kingdom was laughable. Even if the Emerald Eyed dragons had there own kingdom there probably where still bullied around by other empires and kingdoms. He snorted.

" Well, we've been walking for hours we need some food, or at least rest. " Pine said giving Buggy a ' the squirrel does not matter ' look. He smiled. It felt nice to smile. The shock of last night was finally wearing off. The fact that the Night Watchers had been ambushed was quite laughable. Especially when you where going to the training camp to be trained for an extra distraction for them.

" Right maybe we could find water. Moon could fly around with you for a few minutes to find the water. Me and Buggy will look for food. " Star told pine. He nodded. Moon gave him a friendly push and the exchanged a few words and where off to find water. Buggy began to sniff the air. Fuzz Fox dragons at least had some nice sent finding skills. He smiled as he caught the trail of some rabbit a few feet from Star.

" Found a rabbit trail. " He exclaimed. Star looked up from her own sniffing. Hopeful. She and Moon don't eat meat It made them sick and all they got back with the Night Watchers had been pineapples. She carefully came over.

" Let's try to find them me and Moon can find some berry's or eat grass or something. " Star said and took the lead. That was good he was as good as fighting as he was as good as winning arguments and that was really bad.

They gained on the rabbit in a few minutes and where able to catch three in a little swarm of seven. Star cringed as she brought it back to the place they had been before. They made it back and Moon and Pine where just doing lopsided lands. They didn't fly much.

" We found an apple tree a few minute from a spring!" moon exclaimed. he also cringed when he saw the rabbit Star had just put down.

" You guys don't know how much we love meat and how you're insulting it every time you cringe." Buggy said smiling at them. Pine grinned while he tore in to a rabbit Star and Moon huddled close and turned the other way. No need to watch them eat a cute little rabbit. Buggy ate his own and smirked as he tasted the amazing flavors of them. Before the training camp all they had had been rats and the occasional falcon. It was a terrible way to eat. They only knew about rabbits because of the higher ranked they spied on. As he gobbled up the test of the rabbit he threw the extra on in a bush.

" Why'd you do that?!" Pine yelled.

" Divert predators." Buggy answered confidently. Moon and Star giggled a little.

" Alright let go get some apples and water!" Moon said as he began to lead the way. If they really did stay together forever he wanted it to be like this. Moon leading Pine and Star saying a few words and Buggy lost in nice thoughts. He smiled as he thought this.
