Dwayne was jolted awake by the nightmares he had gotten for the past 3 months.
Earlier on he had a happy life with his family like any normal kid.Staying at their home in Milton City comfortably he was happy and was noted by many to be filial to his parents, until the nearby office they worked at exploded. He still remembers on that very day he was buying a birthday cake for his mom to celebrate her birthday when he received a call from the police.
"Hello,we're from the Milton City Police Station. Are you Dwayne Lee?" A female lady spoke on the line calmly as the nervous Dwayne picks up.
"Yes?" Dwayne replied not knowing what to expect, wondering if he did something wrong that day.
"We regret to break the news that your family has died and request that you come to the police station immediately."The female lady exclaimed before she ended the call as Dwayne is heard dropping the cake he had bought for his mom.
Dwayne rushed to the police station as onlookers saw him breaking into tears along with the smashed cake littered on the floor. At the police station they showed him live footage from the site.Hello everyone, we're your hosts Jason and Jaclyn and this is the evening news.In the heart of town, an explosion rocks Lawson Bank, shattering nearby buildings as it went along with 59 casualties as it went off this afternoon." He watched the television as the building was seen charred on the few top floors, papers strewn across the sky as it littered onto the ground. Some were still lit up as the tower still smoldering with black soot and smoke. "Officers had identified that the explosion was caused by a leak in the gas systems. They also had managed to identify several victims of the tragedy." The news anchors announced as he watch distraught, unable to do anything. "Come with me," a police officer said as he directed him to a police car as they head to the hospital. From there he saw the dead bodies of his family and was left to live on as an orphan whom is at the custody of his uncle but is constantly out and about.
He looks upon the empty large bedroom as he snoozed the alarm clock at 5 in the morning. The empty bungalow which belonged to his dad constantly reminded himself of his painful past. He walks around the living room, glancing through the window of the garage filled with cars his father bought over time including an Lamborghini Centenario and a Lotus Europa. He glances back at the kitchen, remembering when his parents were still around, at this time, his mum would had made breakfast for him as his father looked at the newspapers. It was the start of a new year and the final year at his high school. He was hopeful of the next year being a better year, but is still put down by whatever happened 3 months ago. Nevertheless,he walks to school, hoping for the best.
