Epilogue

One Year Later

"Wow this looks nice," Dwayne watches as a plaque with his name is plastered onto the wall called the hall of fame. "Congratulations, you did a lot of work helping everyone," The teacher looked at him pleased. He may look 'weak', as usual (although he is going out with Shelly to bulk up at a nearby Gym), which she is not a fan of, but she is glad at least he wasn't late for the rest of the curriculum, unlike that one time.

"You should be really pleased aren't you?" Shelly surprised Dwayne as he talks back, causing Shelly to giggle. She still wore a similar outfit, but unlike Dwayne, she managed to get herself ripped with six-packs. "Yeah." He paused before continuing "Let's go to that new mall!"

She nods her head excitedly as they take off. The teacher smug as she shakes her head turning away towards the staff room, "What an amazing student, not only managing to save the world but also acing through it all."

They ride down the street, the white Lotus discreetly moving about as life went on. Milton City is still in the midst of construction, many of the necessities were still not ready for some. Some areas still had water and electricity cut off. As he parked his car and entered the cooling mall, they spot Zane and Zoe at a Starbucks. "Oh my! It's the moment of truth." The duo slid into a book shop and watched closely by a bookshelf containing history books, the owner looked on, rolling his eyes knowing that it is the duo, as he looks at where they are looking at grumpily, wondering what was going on.

"So Zoe why did you ask me here?" Zane looks on in curiosity as he eats a chocolate bar. This was the first time he is meeting her ever since their graduation from high school two weeks ago.

"Was it because of my grades?", he wonders to himself. Their results have come out and as usual, Zane topped the school with Dwayne and Shelly right behind. Asther's forcefulness in bringing him closer to Zoe was over, with the issue between Kathryn, Daniel, and Kaminev being resolved (with them being sent to jail for 5 years), but yet he still feels a sensation that she was the one. Especially when she is now dressed in a pretty sundress with flower patterns all over, her now long hair was tied like with a pony braid. With her face looking pretty even without the makeup on. She looks at him as she passes him a gift. As he has a close inspection, it looked like a box that contained CDs or cartridges.

"Please don't tell me it is Game Of Thrones. OMG don't you know how disappointing that show was?" Zane moaned as Zoe giggled playfully, "No it is not." She then proceeds to tear apart the wrapper, revealing several gaming cartridges including Duck Hunt, Metroid, Mega Man, and Galaga. "Let's have some fun shall we?" She looks at him in a flirty manner to which he grinned, "Sure, I bet you can do way better than me, I'm slightly rusty here..." She smiled, knowing how Kathryn, Kaminev, and Daniel are doing well there. She swings her hair to show off her new look to Zane as they got out of their seats.

"Oooh... nice," Dwayne said as he watches them hold each other's hand as they head off.

"Wow so are you ready to buy a book?" The bookshop owner asked him grumpily as sees Shelly take out a book. "This one," She said as the man happily gave change, before returning to his grumpy mood. The book was of a black cover about the recent conflict between two species, containing snapshots of what happened right outside the White House. Dwayne and Shelly smiled, wondering if they are fine.

In The Other Dimension

A tall humanoid looking female slime in a green dress looks upon the new skyline. The sky is now cleared just like in the past with less moody clouds and more rays of sunshine shining down on the glittering waters. She watched on through her specially made telescope as new progress has been made. Crumbling buildings were now renovated with pavement and roads repaired. The goo now complemented the landscape with new structures for the slimes to interact and play. She looks on, pleased, as Hektor opens the door after knocking.

"What is it?" She asked. "Nothing mom it is just that you have a scheduled meeting later about the progress made this year," He said energetically as she nods. Smiling as she stared at the only photograph of Dwayne and Shelly they had placed right next to the picture of her then-husband. Now fitted into a frame with green pearlescent.

"Let's go," she told him as they left the room, looking behind as she entered the now brightly lit stairs.

A man watches on from the sky, passing the cloudy exterior and glossy screen, he looks beyond the work he had created. His brother may had interfered with his work. But he managed to fix it. With the fixes done, he smiled to look at his 'masterpiece'. He knows it was not the best piece he had ever made since he always never bothered to check his work (no matter what it is). But it is an achievement nevertheless for his first book. He taps on 'NEXT' and 'Publish' as he closes the site. He looks on into space. He needn't write any much longer. Their life were already complete. He thinks. He smiled as he closed his laptop, looking at the sleek metallic design as he thinks about what he should do next. However as he leaves through the rusty door and into reality, black goo ooze out. It's computer fizzing and crackling. Dropping onto the floor and assimilating.

THE END

THANK YOU FOR STICKING BY THIS BOOK FOR THOSE LOYALISTS (if there are any). I know this book isn't good with poor sentence structure, weak grammar, weak vocabulary, and huge plot holes but as a horny teenager from Asia who has published a book for the first time, I can't help but feel slightly impressed with myself. Even with the quality is not necessary up to your standards. I hope you readers like it. Leave a comment and a review if you like or place it in your library if you want.

Would I make prequels or sequels to this book? Probably not. Unless I feel it is necessary, maybe?

Would I come back later on to polish this book? I'm still unsure.

Would I make another book using this as a stepping stone? Maybe?

Whatever it is, happy holidays to you readers as we prepare to celebrate the end of the decade.
