Choices

I stared at Ju-Long's extended hand while a million thoughts went through my mind.

I was debating whether I should or shouldn't take upon his offer and accept his hand.

First, let's think about my two choices wisely here.

If I make my choice to go with him, the benefits for me includes being able to obtain clues about myself. I might even discover something new. Maybe something magical even, though that wasn't very likely. Then, we have the downfall, which will be having to go through that test thingy, which itself isn't exactly a bad thing, but as for the consequences for being unable to pass the tests, I'd think like to pass up on it.

However, on the other hand, I have the choice to not take his hand. If I decide to choose this action, of refusing his offer, I would be safe from the tests, but at the same time I wouldn't really get anything accomplished. But considering how Ju-Long is acting so far, it is very likely that Ju-Long wouldn't listen to me. Not that he had really listen to me, from when we first met to now. What if he just decides to drag me away?

Hmm..... Greater risks comes with greater success I guess.

But the more I think about it, the more I feel like I don't have a choice. After all, it seems like both choices leads to me going to the trials.

I might have been deep in thoughts for a little too long, since Ju-Long started to huff and pout and complained," What are you thinking so long for! Just take my hand already! Why do you have to go and make everything so awkward now! Hurry! My arm is getting sore! And guess who's fault it is! All yours Xiao Bai!"

I sighed. Guess I really didn't have a choice did I? Plus I still can't get over that hideous nickname he gave me.

As I raised my arm and placed my hand on Ju-Long's extended hand and said," There will you please shut up now?"

Then I looked up at him and gave him a small smile and said sweetly," By the way, I still hate the nickname you gave me."
