After 2 hours of practicing, Ye Xian was only able to materialize his spirit energy as that of a small dot. He was not least bit discouraged and continued to practice again.

One cannot become supreme in few minutes, only overcoming countless hard works and setbacks, makes one a true supreme of the world.

Time passed by soon evening came, Ye Xian was able to materialize his spiritual energy and transform it into a small needle but he was very happy about it.

Even though he wasn't able to form an arrow, a needle is more than enough to scare off some small fries. However, with the amount of spirit energy he has, he will only be able to form 3 needles at most that's the limit of his strength.

Since the hard part is over, it will be relatively easy for him to practice other two spirit techniques, Mental suppression and soul concealing. Mental suppression has only one use that is to scare off the opponents other than that it has no use.

But the soul concealing technique is very suitable for current him. It will be able to conceal his aura so that other's won't be able to discern his cultivation level.

Ye Xian practiced the other two techniques for another two hours and set off to sunless market.

Within half an hour, he reached the sunless market. The sunless market is an area with many streets remodeled as small and tiny stores.

Ye Xian dressed in plain blue cotton shirt and black pant while his cultivation is concealed. When he entered the market area, he heard many shouts like,

Many servants stood outside their respective stores and bawled continuously to attract the customers. Amusingly, some peoples who are new to the sunless market walked towards their store. Ye Xian shook his head and strolled around the streets to find some authentic stores.

He also visited many stores but many of the items are either fake or spurious. At least he saw one or two stores which are genuine, he also brought some herbs required for the elixir. The herbs he brought are quite normal ones so he only spent around 50 silvers.

Suddenly from a specific direction, he sensed a large amount of spirit energy. When he looked at that direction, he saw herb store so Ye Xian quickly walked towards the store.

If there are a lot of spiritual energy then that means there will be many herbs with high grade or high quality. When he entered the store, a rich medicinal fragrance could be smelled.

A middle-aged man around 40 years of age, stood behind the counter watching the people inside with his hawk-like eyes. There are also many servants inside the store who are attending the customers; From this, he can guess this store must be famous in the Sunless market.

Many varieties of medicinal herbs are placed in the transparent medicinal bottle and arranged in an orderly manner for the customers to see. Even the name of the herbs and it uses are written for the customer's convenience.

There are also many herbs placed in the corner without any written words that mean it's an unknown herb. Ye Xian immediately understood compared to the higher realm, the knowledge of this world is little lacking.

In the Unknown herbs area, he saw many high graded herbs; Alas, it's a pity nobody knows the uses of this herbs. He also knows, he shouldn't show his expression of knowing any herbs. For safety purpose, he even picked some normal herbs in the way and walked towards the unknown herbs.

Surprisingly, he saw two important herbs that needed for the Elixir, snake marked grass and fiery red flower but didn't voice it out. He picked some unknown herb and asked the nearby servant about the price of this herb. He wanted to test this store owners nature and personality.

"Sir, even though we don't know it's uses, its a high graded herb so it's priced at 1000silver." Seeing the interested expression in Ye Xian's eyes the servant quickly quoted a high price.

"If you reduce the price to 500 silvers, I will take it." Ye Xian shook his head and restated the price. He didn't give any room for a bargain by saying 'I will take it.'

The servant showed difficult expression and said: 'Sir, I will go and ask the owner'.

Within seconds, the owner of the store came to Ye Xian and greeted, "Young master, do you perhaps know about this herb?"

Ye Xian could guess what the store owner is thinking so he politely replied, "I don't know about this herb but my master might know, he is currently researching on the new pill so he wanted me to purchase some unknown herbs of high grade."

The store owner couldn't see through Ye Xian so he declined the offer saying: "I am sorry, Young master. Even though we don't know about this herb, it's a high-graded herb so I can only refuse your price."

"OK. I will search for the different herb." Seeing Ye Xian didn't give further thought to bargain, the store owner confirmed that he didn't know about this herb.

Next Ye Xian picked the Snake marked grass and asked about the price. The owner also further confirmed that Ye Xian is truly purchasing the herbs for research so he straight away quoted the price as 500 silvers.

Ye Xian was ecstatic that he was going to purchase such a rare herb for 500 silvers. He also causally picked the fiery red flower and the owner offered the price of 700 silver. He also requested the store owner that he needs as much herb possible of the same kind and also said the same reason that his teacher may find it useful if he didn't find many herbs of the same kind his teacher will criticize him.

Finally, he got four 'snake marked grass' and '4 fiery red flowers'. He once again bargained and brought it for a total of 4000 silvers.

After keeping everything safe in his bag, Ye Xian wandered around the sunless market streets in hope of finding the last herb called white lined clover. Even after searching for 2 hours he couldn't find so he can only dejectedly leave and hope the Numinous association will have the herb.

The Numinous association is a behemoth of this continent. You can even say it's a number one organization of the Night-sky continent. The Numinous Association is further divided into many halls namely Spirit Master hall, Divine hall, Alchemy hall, Forging hall and Array hall.

Spirit master hall is considered strongest in the Numinous Association because spirit masters are the backbone of the Association possessing various spirit techniques, mysterious abilities, and strong fighters.

Divine hall is considered weakest among all the halls because it's constructed in the aim of recruiting and training various divine way practitioners for the protection of Numinous Association.

The other three halls are established in the hope of developing Alchemy, Forging and Array Masters.

One can join the Numinous association after passing the examination conducted by them or you can also directly join if you are Skilled and certified in any of the spirit techniques, Alchemy, Forging and Array.

Ye Xian first planned to join one of the top-rated academy and wanted to observe the Numinous association if they are worthy for him to join like their moral and their conduct towards their people because he doesn't want to be like offering 'his head in lion's mouth'.

Ye Xian reached his mansion without him knowing, thinking about Numinous Association. He straight away went to sleep since he has to visit the Alchemy hall tomorrow and concoct the elixir for his cultivation.
