A Sumptuous Dinner

Irynblood Magic Academy, Main Castle 1st floor Cafeteria

Evening

After getting a change of clothes, Drake met up with Lily and Charlotte.

His fight earlier has made a mess of his clothes thus it was necessary to change.

He was a commoner but he was taught a noble's etiquette.

He was now wearing an inside shirt without sleeves totally exposing his toned biceps.On his way to the cafeteria, A few maidens looked his way.

Drake just gave no mind to them.

The Cafeteria was lighted by a big chandelier at the middle. A few people are chatting or eating at the scattered round tables. It was a self service type.

The food was served in a long table with the utensils in the other end.

The food was enough to feed the students and staff.

The types of food was separated accordingly.

Spotting the two girls chatting and eating at a table not far away, Drake takes a big plate at the food table and gets a bunch of meat and a cup of juice. He then goes to Lily and Charlotte after filling his dish.

He puts his dish in the table and takes a seat. The two greeted him.

"Welcome back, Master.I went over and acquired myself some provisions."

Lily said with a smile as she happily gobbles down a slice of cake.Charlotte laughs and also smiled at Drake.

"Hahaha. I'm sorry about the event earlier.Due to me misunderstanding what Lily meant, We gathered unwanted attention. By the way-"

Charlotte noticed the contents of Drake's plate.

"Eating meat as always, You will get sick. Here have some fruit and vegetables."

She then grabs a couple spoons of vegetables and fruits in her plate and puts it in Drake's.

He was about to say something but didn't since it will cause Charlotte to sermon him about diet again.

After filling their stomachs, They start another conversation.

"That spell you did earlier was commendable. I could have lost if I don't have a lot of trump cards for myself."

Charlotte turned to Drake.

The latter laughs bitterly while scratching the back of his head.

"I'm still weak tho.Compared to that, Everyone else have already learned some basic elemental attack spells."

Charlotte points her finger to Drake.

"You maybe right but you have some perks yourself."

Drake thus confusedly asked.

"What?."

Charlotte replies in a instructor mode using hand gestures.

"Casting spells requires time to prepare. At that time, You can swiftly attack the enemy using your sword. You can use the spell you learned to achieve that kind of strategy. It is one of the basic Body Strengthening Spells. Plus you have the advantage in turns of swordsmanship. Do you want to become a Templar or Magic Knight?."

"Yeah if I can't really learn some powerful elemental spells."

Drake replied. This time, concern was all over on Charlotte's face as she stood up and raised her voice.

"But why? If you want to become a Templar or Magic Knight, I would help you in all ways."

Drake was a bit startled.

"If I don't want to become a Templar or Magic Knight, You won't help me?."

Charlotte became speechless for a second but managed to regain her calm and sat back down. Her face became solemn.

"I would still help you as long as I'm needed but why are you so set on becoming a powerful wizard?."

Lily looked at her Master with curiosity. If his swordsmanship was already commendable, Why would He still insist on becoming a great wizard?

Drake looked down as he was recalling a memory. With a solemn smile, he replied to Charlotte.

"I made a promise a long time ago.I can't go back in my words, I will fulfill it no matter the cost."

Lily just gave a look of astonishment.

Charlotte sighed as she knew that it was already impossible to ask more. She smiled and started to instruct again.

"Well then. I, Charlotte Leis will help you as long as my abilities permit. In the mean time, You need to train for body strengthening spells since its the only thing that you can learn for now."

Drake gave out a small laugh and smiled back at Charlotte and Lily.

"Thanks, Charlotte. Im glad I had you as a friend."

The trio then laughed heartily.
