Well his visits after school continued for the next couple of months, and eventually to my birthday. I have bad health, so I was sick before my birthday, so the evening before I hadn't made a cake yet, and all the stores were closed. We found a recipe which we could make with what we had, so we quickly made it and the next day after class was no exception, because also that day, did he come into the classroom after school to say hi. When he came in and saw it was my birthday he quickly yelled: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOFIA!!! and of course, he and his buddies wanted a piece of cake too. I had made sure to cut extra pieces so they could have some too, in case they came to visit after school. There was just one problem... it was dry as hell, and my mother had used food paste instead of food color in the topping, so their teeth would turn a bit blue
At first tried to tell them no, but then he looked me directly in the eye so I couldn't look away and asked again, and I could only see two possible outcomes of this 1: he would continue, and I would get bright red, and he would think I was in love with him (at that point I didn't even know myself I was in love with him) 2: I would allow him to get a piece, and he wouldn't notice a thing. Since I didn't have much of a choice, I gave him permission to take a piece. It was almost so bad, I was close to shutting my eyes tight, but he said he thought it was delicious. I was so relieved, but then he had to smile afterwards and then I saw his teeth had turned a bit blue. I couldn't help but to giggle a bit I didn't tell him though. I swear to this very day I have no idea of what, but something went wrong that day, because that was the last time he came to see me after class. Not the next day, or the day after, not the next week, not the next month, we went back to being complete strangers.
