Familiy

As I clean the blood stains on the ground and wash the knife back to it's original self I

walk back into my room, I notice the messy bed and floor while the fan is in the corner shut off

"Jeesh, I need to clean this room but y'know I am to lazy to do it now..."

Now it is time to experiment with my vampire self and see if I can go beyond my limits

so first things first, am I immortal? Well I am insane enough to try to hurt my self.

I go back into the kitchen and grab a knife this time aiming at my neck, why? Well I want

to see if I can withstand this kind of injury so I stab myself but once the knife touched my skin

it broke.

"Wow, my skin is strong. I wonder if I have enhanced strength"

As I experiment with my self all day I find out all kinds of things, first- I have a speed rivaling a cheetah and

the strength of a lion while my skin is as thick as a bears. I also discovered that I can jump super duper high

but the thing is my appearance has changed ever since that lady in the light touched my forehead I am now more pale

and my eyes have a tinge of red in them.

"Oh, How am I going to explain this to my mother when she gets home..."

Well one step at a time, one step at a time. I go on my computer as I have nothing else to do and waste time playing

games. 3-hours later I hear the door open and out comes a women with red hair and blue eyes and she is wearing a blue

shirt with black jeans that screams maturity, my mother sure is beautiful.

"John, come help me with the groceries!"

Great just what I needed. I walk into the living room that is quite small as we live in a small apartment made for two.

We are quite poor but we get around. I walk outside as the sun is going down and it is about 5-PM and go to the worn out

car that looks like it's going to break down any second, with black patches and marks all over it. I am suprised it's

even up and running. I grab the grocieries that are in the car and head back inside the small apartment while my mom

turns around from washing the dishes and looks at me with suprise all over her face and her eyes wide open.

Mother-"What the hell happened to your face and those eyes they look like you father... Wait don't tell me you-"

John-"Yes, I awakened fathers bloodline what of it?"

My mother which I forgot to tell her name to you, reader, well her name is Janet and she is walking around nervously as

I ask

"Is it that big of a deal I mean it's not like I crave blood or anything."

Janet-"Son, you do realize that if people find out they will put you in those labs and do experiments on your body

and I don't want that for you."

She cries and hugs me while I just stand there in awe at how much my mother loves and worries about me so I say with

courage and respect.

"Mom, don't worry I will never show anyone the abilities I have nor use them. I will be and

act like any other human out there so you don't have to worry about it, this I can promise you."

As I hug her back and make an oath to my self that I will never abuse these powers of mine in this modern world.

She backs away and looks at me with care and nods while smiling.

Janet-"Alright, let's stop talking about this it will only make me sadder. I am going to make dinner"

John-"Okay, I'll be in my room."

And as I have dinner and me and mom talk about my future I think to my self 'Why did I ever think that killing my self

was the right thing to do? My mom loves me so much so I must build a future where she doesn't have to worry or

work for my benefit. I nod my head and make a vow 'I will become strong for my mother and for me so that I can

protect what we have and in the process if I become a monster then so be it!'

We finish dinner and mom goes of to bed while I go to my messy room and lay on my bed while I clench my fists and fall

asleep.
