Chapter 5: Morning

Lily was startled awake by a 'bang' and Alex sat there already wake she looked at Lily and waved Lily frowned and got up the only one that was asleep now was evan so Lily gently walked over and wispered in his ear within two seconds Evan was up and kicking like he was touched by fire.

Lily laughed Alex said, "Lily what did you say to him" Lily giggled the sound shocked her but everyone else smiled. They packed up and started moving not long after they heard Chiron's voice boom though the woods it said, "this fire is still hot they must be close move out but keep in groups of three and don't get killed" Lily laughed but stopped after her hand was grabbed and Alex took off running with lily in hand. The boys were dumb but managed to know when to run and when to stay. They soon came upon a pond and small train station and house.

Lily knew this place she just didn't realize how close it was to camp. It looked abandoned and that made Lily sad they walked to it but stopped when Alex's grip tightened. Lily forgot Alex's hand was attached to hers. She quickly pulled away Lily never liked being touched it makes her feel like their were ants crawling all over her. Lily started walking to the station and Alex said, "Lily its abandoned lets just keep moving" Lily shook her head and a man came out.

He was skinny and pale his eyes were green and his hair brown. A dog was beside him when it saw Lily it ran towards her the man spoke, "Lily is that you my dear how you have grown and Pluto leave the poor girl alone" Lily gave a small smile and bent to pet the dog now at her feet she then said, "yes it me and it's been so long" the man walked to Lily and hugged her.

He then pulled away and asked something that shocked Alex, Rys, and Evan. "Lily why did you run away.... We loved you we still do the boys never forgot you and constantly wander if your save now tell me Lily are you safe" Lily looked at the others then looked down and spoke softly "I'm sorry for leaving I wish I never did and at the moment me and my... Well we need to get to the city and no we're not save at all but if you don't mind me asking how are they the boys I mean" he smiled and said, "you must be hungry how bout I make food for you and your.... Friends they are your friends right" lily looked up and wanted to say yes but nodded instead she nodded he smiled at her and said, "well lets get you kids feed and we'll talk over breakfast and I know Meagan will love to see you".

Lily looked at her... Friends and said, "this is Mr. Hanson we can trust him... Lets go" Alex held up her hand and asked, "how do you know him" Lily blew off the question and follow her old foster dad into the house where Meagan was cooking she turned around and saw Lily she squealed and said, "Oh my Lily your so tall the last time I saw you was when you were five almost ten years ago in three day it will be ten years exactly your birthday" Lily froze Meagan just spilled the beans on Lily's birthday.

Evan looked at Lily and said, "dude you didn't tell us your birthday was in three days come on you would be crazy not to celebrate" Alex nudged Evan in the arm and his eyes widened. Lily was now clenching her fists and her breathing picked up. Rys pulled Evan outside before Lily killed him. Rys yelled at Evan the moment they got outside "what the hell Evan you know how she feels about the word crazy and she would have killed you a minute ago if we didn't intervene now go scout the perimeter and report back" Evan nodded and Rys at on the platform where if a train did come it would stop.

Alex put a hand on Lily's shoulder and said, "calm down he didn't mean it and if you want you can kick his butt later" Lily physically calmed down but mentally she was fuming Meagan set six plates at the table and Alex got Evan and Rys to come back in and sit down. Evan didn't say anything but then Alex asked, "so... Mr. Hanson how do you know are little Lily".

Lily glared at Alex for calling her little but it was kind of true she stood at only 5'6 and was very skinny from refusing to eat more then a few bits a day if even that she had messy hair like a child's she never really brushed it. It always got messy and noted again so there was no point but if she did wash and brush it It would be really long and pretty.

Mr.Hanson laughed and said, "we were her foster parents and wanted to adopt her but on her fifth birthday when we told her she ran away. We looked everywhere but she was always good at hiding" Lily pushed her food around until Meagan said, "Lily if you don't eat I'll call Logan and-" she never got a chance to finish Lily shoved her hand over Meagan mouth and with her other hand she picked up the fork and stabbed a piece of her scrambled eggs she was surprised Meagan still knew she only liked them scrambled she removed her hand and ate Meagan smiled and giggled then Evan finally spoke he said, "who's Logan" Lily smiled and remained quite Meagan smiled and said, "one of our three sons they love Lily and if Logan knew how skinny this one was he would shove food down her throat until he was satisfied and the others would hold her still as he did it their all at collage now Matt and Chris always ask if lily came home yet" lily repeated the word "home... I forgot the meaning behind that word... Home".

Lily sounded sad she finished all her food for the first time in who knows how long and stood up and walk to another part of the house. It was Logan's room it looked the same but different too she sat on his bed and looked under his pillow where he kept the little important things people gave him there sat Lily's old stuffed killer whale she picked it up and walked in to Matt's room and looked in his bottom drawer of his dress where he kept things that were important to him there I found a picture of the four of them then she went into Chris rooms and went to the lose floor bored and pulled it up she found a sketch of herself so she took all that she found and looked at them the stuffed killer whale that was her favorite the favorite picture of them and the sketch Chris would never let her see she wiped a tear and a voice broke her out of her thoughts "hey Lil I see you knew there hiding place even after all these years..." Lily looked up and saw Meagan Lily wiped a few more tears and whispered, "I never forgot I couldn't forget I love you all but when you said you wanted to adopt me I got scared and ran but I also ran because I couldn't bring my monsters here your to good for that two years I lived here and I was genuinely happy but now I regret running away I always have" Lily couldn't stop the tears from flowing as she looked at Meagan.

Meagan Sat beside her and wiped some of the tears away and said, "Lily you were only five we don't blame you after all your a demi- god and we all have are monsters" Lily looked at her with confusion and asked, "how did you know about that" Meagan shrugged said, "I'm a daughter of Anthea I know a fellow demi- god when I see one so have you been claimed" Lily nodded and said, "yeah by peosiden I have five brothers six if you count James and nine if you count Logan, matt, and Chris".

Meagan let out a small gasp but smiled after and said, "and your friends" Lily opened her mouth and said, "Oh I never asked how silly of me" Meagan laughed and stood up holding out her hand and said, "well lets go ask them" Lily took her hand and wiped her eye and picked up the three items Meagan smiled and said, "there yours why don't you keep them".

Lily smiled and nodded Mr.Hanson was gone when they walked back into the kitchen so they could talk freely. Meagan said, "well kids I know all there is to know about demi- gods I'm one my self so now tell me who are your parents" Lily smiled and sat down. Evan spoke up before anyone else could and said, "well who's child are you" Meagan smiled and said "Anthea" Evans eyes widened and he said, "no way me too..." his smirk widened and Lily smacked him.

He said, "ow what was that for" lily shrugged and Meagan smiled more seeing one of her younger brothers and Rys spoke next he said, "I'm a son of Apollo and Alex" Alex cut him off by saying "Hades now why don't you live at camp half-blood like the rest of us" Meagan smiled sadly and said, "I fell in love and left... my brothers weren't to happy tho some even came after me" she looked at Evan and continued, "Evan please don't tell anyone you saw me please they would try to take me back and I can't go back I have a family now and if you want you can come back and visit anytime you would like you are my younger brother after all" Evan smiled and said, "I promise I won't say anything and of course I'll visit of course I'll drag Lily with me judging by the things she is hiding not very well behind her... she loves you and I know you love her" Lily rolled her eyes at the brat beside her.

Meagan then said, "thank you and Lily I will give you our spare car if you visit the boys they... Well they will love to see you and might even help with what your going to do" Lily's eyes widedened and she said, "oh thank you Meagan and I will I promise I will visit the boys" at that Meagan nodded and gave her a car key. After they said bye to Mr.hanson and Meagan they drove away that's when Evan said, "Lily where are we going" Lily signed and said, "the University of Manhattan and then... Well I don't really know"
