Du Hexi smiled and offered her a hand.

Hua Meili did not find Du Hexi's attitude odd and took his hand gratefully.
She leaned on him for support while he supported her, his hand envelops her to prevent her from falling which she was grateful to.
Hua Meili could feel her knees weaken, almost all of her strength had left her after that fight.

To calm the mother hen down, Hua Meili turns around before facing him again to let him see that she is really okay.

Hua Meili warmly smiled and decided to change the subject to lighten up the mood.

Guo Zhongcheng recounted to Hua Meili about all the things that they had done today while driving and how amazing it is to drive that modified car and something that she didn't catch about....
"So, did you buy it? The fuel?" Hua Meili asked.
Knowing that she does not have any other reason to make her overly protective guards go away, she made them buy a few barrels of fuel again.
Making them buy again left them confused but since they were ordered to do they can only go.
Also, they can have each other for themselves for the whole day. No lost at all, no lost ah!
