Chapter 22 The First Two Mutated Abilities
"Good morning lovebirds !!"
Hua Meili greeted Guo Zhongcheng and Zhongcheng Qingren in a happy and teasing manner once she saw them.
She was so happy waking up that morning that she even had the time to tease the two couples who only smiled at her, well, only Zhongcheng Qingren did.
"Hua Meili, your bullying me again!"
Guo Zhongcheng whined as he pouted.
"How am I bullying you? Isn't it true that the two of you are lovebirds?" Hua Meili retorted.

Guo Zhongcheng whose face was cooked like a shrimp covered his face with his two hands wishing that they can't see him if he do so.
Hua Meili almost spat the water that she was drinking when she heard Guo Zhongcheng say that to her, her eyebrows raised as she looks at the overly grown man.

Zhongcheng Qingren who could not endure his lover's cuteness shamelessly embraced the blushing man in his arms and eat his tofu.
No matter what his lover's antics could be, he will willingly support him and steal some tofu on the way.
Hua Meili who saw this scene was both half happy and sad.

Hua Meili who got a good laugh from teasing Guo Zhongcheng decided to go and grab some mocha-flavored ice cream in the fridge.
"Miss, your ice cream."
Hua Meili stop in her tracks going to the kitchen when a cup of ice cream was presented right into her face.
Looking up from the hands, tracing it, her eyes fixed directly on Du Hexi's fixed smiling face.
"It's mocha flavored." Du Hexi smiled.
"Thanks."
Hua Meili took the ice cream from Du Hexi and turned around to get going. She went and sat in the garden.
"It's really not good to be a single dog!" Hua Meili sighed.
Opening the lid she then started eating, and relaxing.
"So delicious... right, XiaoXiao since I have some crystals and points already can I see the System Upgrade that I could buy?" Hua Meili said to XiaoXiao.
While eating her ice cream, she lifted her right hand up towards the sky, caressing the passing wind.
What could her thoughts be at that moment while she let the passing wind touch her fingertips?

She looked at the new upgrades available and thought for a while about what ability she needed the most.
After debating what she needed the most out of all the abilities in the market, she decided to buy the Ice and Thunder ability of a mutated human for her first two mutated abilities.

The ice shard was glistening with sparkling luster as the light hit its surface.
But, the most noticeable feature of the ice shard on her hand was its transparent quality.
When one looks at it, one can directly see past it.

Hua Meili could not help but exclaim in awe when she saw just how beautiful and unique her ice ability was.
Thinking so, she also started using her Thunder ability in her other hand to see what type of shape her Thunder ability would take shape.
On her hand, a spark first appeared before a powerful but small electrical discharge came roaring out of her hand as a thunder dragon awakened from its deep slumber.
A ball of white light could be seen on her hand, swirling.
Looking closely, it was a compressed current of electricity shaped into a ball.
The sizzling sound of the electric current sounded all over the room as she watches in awe as she looks at the ice shard and the ball of electricity on both of her hands.

Conjuring an ice cream out of nowhere, Hua Meili leans down on the chair and enjoy life at its sweetest!!
