Chapter 25 The Shou and Gong Couple Going Out Of The Mansion For The First Time!
"Today, we will go on a hunt!"
Hua Meili who was eating suddenly declared to Guo Zhongcheng and Zhongcheng Qingren her intentions of leaving to the two who were currently eating their breakfast.
Zhongcheng Qingren furrowed his brows as he looked at Hua Meili while Guo Zhongcheng swallowed down his food, choking in the process.
After breakfast, Hua Meili decided that today is the day to let the two out of the cage and let them see the new world.
Like a newborn bird that will go out to see the world to live on its own, hunt on its own, and have a family of its own.
They could not possibly stay cope up in the mansion for the rest of their lives.
Now that they had already cultivated and strengthened their abilities a little, it is time for her to bring the two chicks out of their shell!
As their self-proclaimed mother bird, she will bring them out to see the bad and good sides of the world today!
She will teach these overly grown-up hatchlings how to hunt their own food and to face the chaos of the world!
Hua Meili stated to the two of them that they would explore the city and hunt some Mutants.
Braving the unknown dangers and uncovering mysteries, find the sunken city of Atlantis and see how Mutants become Mutants?
Since the Mutants are only Phase 1 stiff turtles, one or two or a hundred won't be that much of a threat to her, so she decided to bring the two out and gather some real-life experience.
The three will kill all the Mutants and create a carpet of blood during their massacre!
It was a 20-minute ride to the town using the car since where they live was really pretty far away from the city, they use the WC short for War Car, to ride into to go to the city.
Du Hexi was driving the car and Hua Meili was sitting beside him in the front seat and the two love birds at the passenger seat.
When the group arrive in the City, the sound of the moving car and add in the smell of fresh human meat, attracted some Mutants.
The Mutants quickly surrounded the WC in no time.
But only 3 - 5 Mutants surrounded the car since Hua Meili had pretty much cleaned the district a week ago.
"Don't forget what I told you before, you must not get bitten or scratched by a Mutant, or else you will get infected. Just a little scratch can turn you so you need to be careful. In your current level, the antibodies in your body would not be able to counter the infection so you must be careful in the early stages."
The warning in her voice was very thick that it scared the two of them.
They could see that what she told them is the truth and seriously embedded that information in their mind.
"Maybe in the future when you are a lot stronger, then maybe a bite or two won't luckily turn you into one of their kind. Just maybe though."
Hua Meili wryly smiled.
The two lovebirds gulp.
"Now, go open the roof door and kill the Mutants from there. Close combat will be for later when I see what you can do first."
Hua Meili smiled evilly.
"Bring this knife and the gun and some magazines. If it's not necessary do not use the gun but I'm not telling you not to use it at all. I rather let you attract some Mutants than lose you in the fight because you're afraid of using the gun. Do not worry if such a situation does arise, fire the gun in an emergency, I will deal with the aftermath."
Hua Meili explained in one breath.
"Don't worry, we will kill the Mutants instantly and we will not attract other Mutants!" Guo Zhongcheng said fired up.
"How will you deal with it if we attract some Mutants?" Zhongcheng Qingren curiously asked.
"You'll see. Now go and kill the Mutants!"
Hua Meili looked at them mysteriously and did not reply, she tossed them a gum before ordering them to go.
The two of them looked at the gum, nodded, and open the roof door.
From there, they used their skills to kill the Mutants surrounding the car and also those that are approaching.
Zhongcheng Qingren used his fire to burn the Mutants while Guo Zhongcheng used his wind to spread the fire.
Having a great understanding between the two, they cooperated quite well.
Based on their performance, they can somehow control their ability even though they are newly awakened.
This just means that they got a promising future.
Hua Meili who was watching from her car window was awed by the two's combo, their ability combined are really fascinating to the eyes.
Maybe because it's their instinct to protect each other, it made it easy for them to do a combo together.
When all of the Mutants were finally killed, the trio got off the car.
Hua Meili then made them gather the corpses in one place and set them on fire just like she used to when killing the Mutants.
She can't have those corpses around there to be some public display.
By killing and disposing of the Mutants remains cleanly, she can help society accomplish its motto about being clean and green.
{Burn}
Having burned the corpses to ashes, glittering ZC's remained on the ground among the pile of ash.
"Wow! What did you just do?!"
Watching her burn the corpse to ashes in just a mere second, Guo Zhongcheng could not help but look at her with awe visible in his eyes.
"Can you use fire too?" Zhongcheng Qingren asked.
Surprise was also visible in his eyes.
Never did he expect that she can use the fire ability too and her fire ability is even much more powerful than his!
Hua Meili just smiled at the two of them and gather the ZC on the ground.
She tossed it all to them, these zombie crystals are their reward for their first kill after all.
"No, I can't control fire but I could do some tricks using my Talismans."
Saying so, Hua Meili took out a piece of yellow paper and use it.
{Burn}
Just as the writing on the yellow paper said, glistening blue flames dance in the air before disappearing seeing that there is nothing to burn.
Watching the fire appear and disappear right before their very eyes, both of their jaws drop.
They could not believe what they just saw!
How could there be such a thing in the world?!
Well, it's already the Apocalypse.
So another supernatural thing appearing should be considered normal now, right?
"Where did you learn that, that is so cool! The more you show us some of your abilities, the more mysterious you get. I thought that I knew you but every day you bring more surprises and it just keeps on piling up." Guo Zhongcheng said upset.
"Hehe... you will see more surprises in the future. Since the road is long, you will one by one uncover my secrets. It will be boring if I tell you what else I can do, right?!"
"Yeah right! I will even believe you if you told me that you were an alien!" Guo Zhongcheng seriously said.
'You never know....'
Hua Meili snickered thinking that his guess is almost on point. It's just that, she's not an alien but a transmigrator!
"Hehe... come on. Let's go and find some Mutants for you two."
After the surprise, the trio walked back to the WC and ride to town.
Every time they encounter Mutants, the two lovebirds would face them in a hand to hand combat since they already know how to handle the Mutants.
While Hua Meili watches the two of them as she sits back in the car while eating ice cream.
Hua Meili also felt happy seeing her ZP increasing even though she is not doing anything because of the two.
Since they are listed as her subordinates in her Status Menu, it is considered her kill when the two kill some Mutants.
When they kill Mutants, she could also get some points but she won't be getting the ZC since it's their kill.
Why would she steal it?
After the two love birds finish killing the Mutants, they would gather the corpses in one place and let Hua Meili "toss" out a fire talisman to burn it.
Literally, she just tossed out a talisman.
Hua Meili thought that this is the best day of her life!
She just needs to sit there and eat her favorite ice cream and she gets paid (ZP).
If ever the two got in trouble, she let Du Hexi do all the work on her behalf while she did nothing at all.
If ever the two of them got in danger, she will just let Du Hexi come to their rescue while she watches dramas on her phone.
