Do you ever wonder if fate and destiny exist? Have you ever thought to yourself 'why me?'? Well... lets just say no matter what, EVERYTHING, good or bad has a consequence.
*Bad things come in three's
*7 years bad luck for breaking a mirror
*A black cat crosses your path
The bad always seems to outweigh the good.
Just like in her life...
The daughter of the most feared underground boss has always respected the code in which her family follows.
Ever since she was a young child, Lexi knew her father wanted a son to keep his legacy alive. However it was not meant to be...
Lexi's mother passed away while trying to give birth to a son and heir for her cold husband, King of the underground, leader of the Sui clan...
Sadly the child passed and ever since, Lexi has fought hard to prove herself to her heartless, screaming father.
18 years into Lexi's life
"The Ji clan have attacked so many of our family members. I will bring them down and finally show my father I am worthy to be the head of this family!" Screamed Lexi, while angrily training in self-defence against her one true friend Rin.
"Calm down Lexi, one wrong move and I could have you pinned" Snickered Rin with a mischievous look on his face. "Ha! I would like to see you try" Lexi chuckled as she pinned Rin to the grass below and held him down.
Both sweaty and out of breath the two childhood friends suddenly froze as the atmosphere changed... Lexi's father walked by without even acknowledging her. It felt as if hell had frozen over whenever he walked by, always stoned faced and dressed in a soul stealing black suit with sunglasses to match.
However, seeing how distracted his friend was Rin took the opportunity to flip the tables and pinned Lexi to the ground. "See, what did I tell you" Rin whispered into her ear mockingly. Lexi on the other hand was now thinking of a more serious matter... how to prove her worth and finally gain the love of her father, as well as being officially accepted and recognised as a member of the Sui clan.
Turns out the time she had to prove herself to her father, was running thin...
To be continued...
