Peppermint
" Hey, Sunset. " Peppermint says as she takes a seat on the bench beside me.
" How do I get my name to be Sunset?" I ask and stare into her deep green eyes.
" With this. " She says and pulls a blue ball from her pocket. I take it. " Smash it " I do and a blue blurry screen comes up. I erase the name that was previously there and printed in sunset. I smiled at Peppermint.
" Thanks Peppermint. Do you want some tillos for the ball?" I say feeling a little guilty.
" It like 10 tillos. It just a name changing orb. " Peppermint says. I use at her.
" Sorry about earlier. You know at the motel. " I say staring ahead of me. In my side vision I see her nod a little.
" Me too. Working there sucks. But you know. I need some extra tillos. To then buy weapons so I can leave and explore this crazy world. " Peppermint says I can see the dream in her eyes.
" Don't you get a beginning weapon. " I say feeling the outside of my satchel, then feeling the lump of my Instant Tamer crystal.
" I did. There where these bandits. They robbed me blind. Took my first weapon. My elemental essence I found. I had to come here with nothing but some scraps of fabric. " She says. I can see the need for revenge in her eyes.
" Wow. That scary. I can help you. I have some extra cash. We could buy to you a knife and then you could come with me. We could explore together. " I say. The words tumble out of my mouth. I nearly say ' No. That actually sounds like a bad idea ' I hold myself back though.
When I am traveling alone for the short amount of time I was traveling, I was really lonely. No one to talk to. Also peppermint, was the first person I met here. She was kind to me. I smile as I wait for an answer.
" Would you really do that. " She whispers. I think for a second.
" Well. it's really lonely without someone else to talk to. And we could probably find a lot more stuff TOGETHER. " I say the last word a little loudly. Making together sound good. Sound friendly. Peppermint stared. Then nodded. I smile. I have my friend, Peppermint.
