Anna Jones, an Australian travelled with her fiancé Lu Jinhu to marry in his home country, only to find out that she has been duped by him and robbed of everything that she owns.  A quirk of fate allows her to marry CEO Hou Yi, who was meant to on the same day marry his finance Yang Lin, who in fact married Lu Jinhu.  Marriage for Anna, started as a plan to gain some measure of revenge on Lu Jinhu, and for Hou Yi to prevent Lu Jinhu from obtaining the family company however fate had something different in store for them.  Not only did they achieve their initially goals, but their relationship turned into something else, that could last a lifetime despite the cultural differences and the trouble Lu Jinhu and Yang Lin caused them.

Offer to the CEO

Hou Yi moved to a corner of the sitting room, and James followed him.  Hou Yi quietly asked "James, are you certain about this?"


"Yi you know the discussion we had last night.  I was certain on sight Alecia was the one for me.  My priority is what she wants, her happiness, well-being and safety.  That requires her dealing with what Lu Jinhu did to her.  You know I was ready to kill him for what he did to Anna, now you can imagine what I want to do to him, let alone his father."


"Alecia needs to be away from here while the police investigation goes on.  Using the excuse of going to study in Australia for two terms achieves that without people knowing.  But I wanted to make sure that we were not forcing it onto her.  It needed to be her choice."
