Anna Jones, an Australian travelled with her fiancé Lu Jinhu to marry in his home country, only to find out that she has been duped by him and robbed of everything that she owns.  A quirk of fate allows her to marry CEO Hou Yi, who was meant to on the same day marry his finance Yang Lin, who in fact married Lu Jinhu.  Marriage for Anna, started as a plan to gain some measure of revenge on Lu Jinhu, and for Hou Yi to prevent Lu Jinhu from obtaining the family company however fate had something different in store for them.  Not only did they achieve their initially goals, but their relationship turned into something else, that could last a lifetime despite the cultural differences and the trouble Lu Jinhu and Yang Lin caused them.

Offer to the CEO

Anna was woken up by Hou Yi, gently shaking her and saying "Anna, you need to wake up."

All she could respond was "Yi, you meany. I was trying to get some additional sleep."

"Sweetheart, we have a few things to do this morning before I head into the office and you head off to the university law school."

With that Hou Yi decided he had to be mean and he pulled back the covers, to Anna screaming "Hou Yi, I will get you." Picking up a pillow she threw it at Hou Yi, that started the two of them laughing.

Twenty-five minutes later Anna as she entered the small dining room where Hou Yi was, his mobile rang. Answering it Hou Yi immediately placed it on speaker saying, "Hello Rosemary."

"Yi, I do not want to talk to you …"

"Hi Anna. I just wanted to touch base given that your wedding ceremony is next Saturday."
