Beast of War

This bandits are not good enough for me so that I can practice. Still this is pretty weird aside from the bandits I don't feel anyone else not one of the town's people. I don't even smell their blood to indicate that they where killed.

Did these bandits let them escape? If so that means they really aren't ordinary bandits. A decent formation and ok fighting skills and they don't leave their comrades even though I sense their fear. How very weird... I evaded to the side. A lance pierced my cheek. From behind me I felt an ominous presence. These guys are pretty good, to get behind me without me noticing.

Everyone in the vicinity stopped fighting and was looking at the man behind me. I was about to look when Clarabell screamed. "Gabriel evade!" I jumped upward a sword sweep past through. I turned Lauria into a shield and placed her at my back. A sword thrust came. It was powerful I was blown away about 2 meters I guess. I looked At the man behind me. He was wearing a lion's skin and by his waist a brown bear's fur. His right hand held a massive mace. He stood there his right eye was scarred and the eyeball was not to be seen.

Unlike the others he was emitting a different aura. If I have to compare it to something he was emitting an aura like uncle's. This guy was fearsome. "Who are you?" He spoke in a very low tone as if he was growling.

"No the question is who are you? What have you done to the villagers?" I answered him with my own question. He looked at me and then at his followers. "I have nothing to say to you." "Hmm so negotiations are done? You still won't tell me where the villagers are?" The one eyed man did not answer but took another spear from his subordinate and threw it at me. It was fast but unlike awhile ago when it was a surprise attack I was able to see it coming, so I easily dodged it.

The man was walking toward me the others are busy with his subordinates so it's going to be a one on one between me and him. I turned Lauria into twin blades and casually walked forward the one eyed man was charging at me. His struck his mace downward trying to hit me, I easily dodged to the right. I was about to counterattack when his mace hit the ground. The ground within his area and mine shook. I was out of balance when I tried to counter thus my aim was off. Seeing the chance the one eyed man swung his mace horizontally to my side. Due to my uneven footing I couldn't dodge or turn Lauria into a shield there was no time. So I slightly redirected the attack with one blade and blocked with the other. Though the power was greatly reduced it was still powerful. I was once again blown away, this guy has ridiculous power. No time to hesitate might as well test it on live combat. Lauria begin the chant, yes my master. "I am the beginning" "I am the end" "I have walked at the edge of the battlefield." "I have waited at the edge for the worthy." "I am one who has overwhelmed destiny." "I am the one to create all weapons." "I am the one who wields all weapons." "Shatter the world and recreate it in my image." "Show to me the eternal carnage." "One body, one soul, one weapon!"

Richard's POV

I was fighting one of the remaining bandits. That was when I heard him and her chanting. The area surrounding us was once again turned into a barren wasteland full of weapons. Was Gabriel's opponent really that strong for him to use Lauria's unbinded state? While the bandit was shocked because of the sudden change I took the chance and sliced him. I then looked at Gabriel's battle.

Clarabell's POV

I just finished three bandits and was about to help Richard when I heard them chanting. The world distorted and was replaced with world full of weapons. I looked at the guy who chanted those words he was smiling. His smile was vicious, his eyes looked like a predator about to devour its prey. This was Gabriel's true nature. I saw a glimpse of it once during our mock battle.

Gabriel's POV

I picked up a longsword from the field of weapons. This sword was a holy weapon once used by soldier who turned into a demon then into a hero. I looked at the one eyed man my blood was boiling with excitement I asked him "What is your name." He looked at me I couldn't read his expression but after a few moments he answered. "I'm Gerard Slyhert." I smiled at him "Gerard Slyhert, I'm Gabriel Wolfstein."

Gerard's POV

The boy in front of me called Gabriel was frightening. He turned the entire area into a field of weapons, not only that the pressure he was emitting was the real deal. It's taking me all I have just to stand in his presence. He was smiling ferociously at me this was no human it was beast a dangerous beast of war.

The beast spoke "Let us begin shall we." At the moment he said that he was gone. I felt his presence behind me so I swung my mace at full power behind me.

"Where are you swinging?" I was wrong he didn't move behind but to my side. He didn't attack me even though he had a great opportunity to do so. He was toying with me, me one who has been to many battlefields was being toyed by a brat that wasn't even half my age.

I smashed my mace into the ground. With that move the ground shook. I was trying to catch him off balance but then he already jumped above me. I blocked his upcoming sword swing.

"Hey don't be a bore you already did that once." He said so while unleashing flurries of slashes. The speed of his attacks cannot be compared to his attacks awhile ago. I couldn't do anything but barely dodge and block those attack aiming for my vitals. I already have numerous scratches after a few seconds.

The boy then yawned and said. "Release unbinded state." The world of weapons turned back into the town it was before. The boy looked at me disappointed "I overestimated you, all you have is strength everything else is about average."
