DAY 1 AT THE COLLEGE

"Morning ma'am", we greeted her which was instantly responded with a warm morning by our teacher.

"Since many of you are still to come, let's wait for 10mins and then will begin our class", told our teacher.

I didn't knew her name yet.

More students started pouring in and in no time half of the class was full.

"So class let me begin with introducing myself", our teacher told us.

My name is Nitasha and I will be taking your geomorphology.

And slowly everyone began to introduce themselves.

To be honest by the end my mind was puzzled. The only name I remembered was of our teacher.

Miss Nitasha was kind enough to not teach on the first day. After the introduction session got over, the class was dismissed. We had an hour off before the next class. I was already bored coz I had nothing else to do. So I started conversing with one of my classmate.

She took the initiative of introducing herself. She seemed to be a very polite person. Her name was Bharti. I had a nice chat with her for about an hour in the college ground. After that we left for our class together.

She was my first friend at college and I was probably the same for her. We even shared the same generic (choice based ) subject. Rest of the day went by the same process of introduction in each and every class. By the end of the day I knew the names of most of my classmates.

Overall I had a nice day. After spending about 5 hours in the college I started walking towards home.

On reaching home I felt relaxed. The anxiousness I had a day ago was all gone. My day 1 went by very smoothly, smoother than I had imagined.

I planned to take a brief nap but when I opened my eyes it was already 5 pm. I had a sound sleep.

I then decided to take a walk to freshen up. I started strolling towards the nearby park. the weather was so peaceful and calm. I sat down in one of the benches and started reviewing my life. I have always been lucky in every matter, right from having such an amazing and supportive parents, to be able to live my life in my conditions. No one could stop me from doing what I wanted to do.

After spending about an hour in the park, I decided to visit the market and buy some necessary stuff. The market was just 10 mins from the park. I already had my favourite store "Garg and sons", where you get all the possible items. I got myself some eatables and then left for home.

When I got back home, I started preparing dinner. I had so much of free time hence I decided to decorate my room. I have always been very enthusiastic towards organizing things. So I put my best foot forward and decorated my dull room.

By the end of the day, I was quite happy with the result.

My day ended with a nice warm meal and a head start for tomorrow.
