Milestone

Do you remember when you first smiled?

How about the first word you've said?

Memories from long ago

As a child, I cannot remember

However today, marked another chapter

And I am puzzled I can't remember

What happened last year, on the same day

Whatever I did before

Hence I've realized, every minute

Every second, should be a milestone

A minute to think, to pray

To feel that pent up emotions

Because time is of value

It is an accomplished milestone

Overflowing time to spend

As time to use is time earned
