There are two types of people in the world;

1. Those who believe in fate
2. Those who don’t believe in fate

Xi Men Yan believed that he belonged to the second category until he was presented a marriage contract by his grandfather. He was given two choices;

1. Marry the girl that his grandfather had chosen, or
2. Loose his entire wealth

The choice was obvious, isn't it?!

Love, Fate and Destiny

There are two types of people in the world;


People belonging to the first category think that whatever happens in their life is decided by fate. They believe that fate is the one who leads you to your destiny by creating various twists and turns in your life, both good and bad. 


But the people who come under the second category are of the opinion that they are the ones who have the ability to make their own fate and choose their own destiny. Though there are many people who think that they belong to this second category but there are only a few, rarest of the rare, who are able to fight against their fate to realize their destiny.


Now you may be thinking that why am I talking about such philosophies. Ah! Well, the thing is that I was also one of those people who think that I belong to the above mentioned second category. And this is my story of realizing that I am not the one in control always, that there is this thing called fate who leads the willing and drags the unwilling towards their chosen destiny.


By the way, did I mention that the road to your destiny isn't smooth, that it is full of bumps and pits? These are the obstacles that the fate has planted to test if you are worthy of your destiny or not. And to think that I was dragged down on this road, can you imagine how much did it hurt?!
