Settling Down

Cold sweat appeared on the contractor's forehead as kept on scanning the blueprints. Everything he saw was so detailed that is was horrifying. This kind of detail and equipment was something made by someone that obviously had prior knowledge on what they doing.

"Who are you? This is the first time I am seeing you in the academy. From your blueprints to the number of points you have, baffle me."

"Nothing you need to concern yourself with." A gentle smile appeared on Fiona's beautiful face as she brought out her hand that was wearing the bracelet.

A ding sound could be heard as the number of points she had was then deducted by 4 million points. This amount could be enough for at least 4 people to live in luxury in Heaven Academy during their stay here.

The contractor had no choice but to accept it as it is. Anxiety enveloped the contractor's body as he felt that this was the start of something unholy.

After the contract was sealed, Fiona immediately went to where Rachie was supposedly staying and found a place that her house could be built on. The opening ceremony was already done by this time and students were given time to wander around the school grounds to familiarize themselves within the vicinity.

Fiona rang the doorbell and she was met with the girl living in the dorm.

"Hi! Excuse me but can you tell me how many points you want for this place?"

"What? What are you saying? My family spent a lot for me to stay here and--" Before she could say any more, Fiona showed her 10,000 points to purchase this place. She couldn't say anything anymore as she was dumbstruck on how much the girl in front of her was buying her place.

"Well? I am willing to buy your place for 10,000 points, of course, you obviously know how precious these are, right? Fiona stood her ground and persuaded her to sell her place. She was shocked at how many points she was being traded for since normal dorms only cost around 500 points and the luxurious ones cost 2000 points.

She gave up and the trade was done and the start of construction immediately started as soon as she bought the place.

"There might not be enough space here... might as well buy the entire street." Fiona then went from house to house to buy their places and ended up spending around 75,000 points since one of the places was a luxurious one.

After buying everything, she had to stay at someone else's place this was such a grand house. She would have to resort to begging Rachie to let her stay at her place since it would be killing 2 birds with 1 stone, she would be able to solve her homeless status and grow closer and establish a better relationship.

After waiting for at least 2 hours in front of Rachie's house with her head resting on her knees, Rachie finally appeared and was shocked to see Fiona there. The sun had already set and darkness enveloped the night's sky.

"H-Hey! Fiona! What are you doing here?" Rachie was concerned about Fiona's current state.

"I uh... am sorry but could you... let me stay at your place for a while? Please!" Fiona enacted her role exactly as she should and bowing deeply as soon as she pleaded.

"What am I going to do with you? Hais, let's go in! You can be my roommate!" Rachie sighed as she saw that Fiona was at the verge of crying, all she could do was show her cheerful personality in hopes of cheering Fiona up as she accepted her plea.

"Heh, easier than I thought." Fiona's thought within her mind. She could establish her own alibi of being Rachie's roommate when trouble would arise and at that point, Rachie will definitely save her.

To be clear, nothing else mattered to Fiona other than finding her, one true love. She will any means necessary to find her soul mate, even if she has to sacrifice Rachie's life to achieve that.

Upon entering the door, Rachie looked back to see that construction was currently underway and it made her quite curious. Buildings were getting demolished the same time that another building that seemed even grander was being built.

"Fiona, you have been here a while, right? What are they building?"

"I don't--" Then it struck Fiona, how would she be able to live here now if she told the truth? She already asked for a place to stay because she seemed desperate but if she knew that Fiona was the one who was going to live there then wouldn't it mean there would be an obvious gap between them? Then her plan of having an alibi with Rachie's help would go down the drain.

She had to think of something at the spur of the moment and what she came up with was, "A rich looking girl... was talking to the owners of those houses and she... was buying all the houses." Although it was the truth, she skillfully told it without arousing suspicion.

"Oh! Well, let's go in! I'll make some hot choco. It's delicious I promise!" Seeing that Fiona was starting to shiver, she immediately opened the door and went ahead to the kitchen. After making some hot choco, they started to talk about things that interested them and both got along even more, it was the start of a great friendship.

"Well the only reason I made the house was for those "rooms" so it doesn't matter if I don't live there. Well, I could if I change my appearance back so there's really not much of a problem." Fiona's thought rambled and reached the conclusion that her decision was the correct one.
