Born So Lucky

It took them thirty minutes to arrive at the island.

Some of Ryu's workers were waiting for their arrival. "Isn't this a little too much for just a greeting?" Arya commented with a laugh when the yacht was about to dock at the island.

There were probably about 30 workers, waiting for them and according to Ryu, these workers were also living on his private island with their families to maintain the place and the mansion.

"They are just curious to see me since this is the first time I am visiting the place. I have hired someone to send me videos and keep me updated during the construction period." Ryu explained.

He didn't even manage to check the mansion after construction. He had entrusted all the matters to Regan-his Officer-In-Charge.

"Wow, you are like a celebrity to them in here," Arya commented jokingly.

"Madam, it's more like Boss Ryu was their lifesaver," A man interrupted. Ryu had introduced him as Regan-his Officer-In-Charge

Arya noticed that Ryu also had security personnel, based on their outfits and guns. "You even had your own security team for the island?" She asked out of curiosity.

Ryu smiled at her and said, "You can never tell what can happen, so it's best to be prepared since we are on my private island."

The workers with their family had greeted them, some even gave something like fruits and other things to show their gratitude to Ryu for letting them stay at the island and providing them enough shelter and livelihood to live at according to Regan who assisted them from the docking area.

Ryu said his appreciation before he and Arya went inside the car that will bring them to the mansion.

------------

"This place is so amazingly beautiful!" Arya commented. She was gasping while looking through the side window at the breathtaking area, which was surrounded by palm trees and she can see Ryu's mansion from afar that looked really huge.

"This is quite big to fit him alone." Arya murmured as they went outside the car. The household of the mansion was outside, waiting to greet their Boss, whom they were going to meet for the first time ever.

Arya was also born in a family with a household, but it had never been like this. Ryu was definitely on a much higher level compared to their family.

She quickly went inside and hurriedly inspected everything.

Inside the mansion had a single grand staircase, traditional luxury decor, and an indoor/outdoor area.

It was a seven-bedroom mansion that had formal living and dining rooms, home office, and a gourmet kitchen-every attribute of a luxury dwelling.

It also had an indoor swimming pool with a slide and a spacious green courtyard.

The interior was designed with luxurious materials and furnishings, which created a different atmosphere in each room.

The mansion even had a spa room, theater complex, wine room, and a 5,300-square-foot (492 sq. m.) master suite with a private, heated patio.

The entire mansion was built to frame the sweeping island and had a gorgeous beach view. It was such a beautiful modern mansion that Arya's eyes couldn't stop looking around.

Ryu was smiling full of love as he stared at her. "I'm glad you like it," he said.

"No, I don't. 'Like' is not the right word for it, because I definitely love it." Arya replied to him with a wink.

-----

"Sir, so far there's no suspicious movements on Ryu's side. They are on a private island on South, as you suspected. I have already reminded Arya about the consequences if she betrayed us." Rita reported.

"So far, I believe Ryu is not aware of the situation. He is just having a simple vacation with Arya. Everything has been prepared for the execution of the plan next week. Arya will disappear from his sight before he even knew about it." She continued.

Rita's Boss just nodded while she heard the flipping of the pages of the book her Boss was reading.

"That's good. Ryu is born so lucky, don't you think so? I wonder how long his luck will last." Rita heard the Boss suddenly speak.

"Sometimes, it's not actually pure luck. I believe that there are things, which have already been destined to happen from the very beginning." She commented unconsciously. Then, she saw the book flying near her.

"Get out, and do your work properly!" The Boss shouted at her.

'Did she say something wrong?' She thought inwardly as she left immediately before another book was thrown at her directly, though she was quite sure the Boss wouldn't do that to her.
