She opened the textbook she was studying at home and she no longer have any care with whatever is happening within the classroom. That is how focused she is with whatever she is studying. She was too focused that even though there were girls shrieking out loud and boys groaning in the sidelines, her attention from her book never swayed. And that non-reaction is what caught the attention of the young handsome man who just entered the room as well.

"Such a weirdo," Ed thought to himself.

But his attention was taken away from the weird girl when the professor entered the room and asked everyone's attention since the class has to start.

"Ed please introduce yourself to the class since you're just new here," that is how the professor started the class.

So when Ed had to stand in front of everyone that is when he observed that he have everyone's attention except for one weird lady at the back. He have already finished introducing himself but the "weirdo", that is what he is calling her in his mind, is still not looking his way so is not sure if she is listening at all.

Actually Dale is listening from the moment their professor asked for their full attention to the point wherein Ed was asked to introduce himself. But she can't really make herself look in his direction.

"He's too handsome for my eyes, too handsome that I might get blind just looking at him." Dale thought to herself.

So Ed have already finished his introduction but she never dared to look into his direction. The lecture started after Ed took his seat near the front door since that is the only seat left thus the only thing that Dale can see is the back of his head.
